I am extremely happy with John and his business. I called on Friday morning and John was able to get out to re-key my locks the next morning. He was early, professional and extremely helpful. He explained the process to me ahead of time and double checked the day to make sure I was clear on the price and process before doing so. He completed the job quickly and did great work for a great price. I will absolutely use his services in the future.

I made an appointment with APEX Lock and Key. Not knowing Cary Lock and Key was affiliated, I called them to verify the cost I had been provided was reasonable. Since they were affiliated they knew about my existing appointment and said they were canceling it and would not schedule an appointment with me. I understand their reasoning but it seems to me that they have a way to charge excessive rates and have trying to keep a monopoly on the market.

I place the key like it should be it missed a hump that should have been on the keys I order but it was not just a wait of time. The gold key is what the machine made the silver key is an Original key.

Honestly this was the most infuriating experience ever. I just spend $160 for them to come and drill a hole through my lock which I could’ve done in the 45mins I was waiting for someone to come lock-pick it….. now I not only am out $160 for these “services” that took a whole 60seconds to do but I need to buy a new lock on top of that… really pissed because I have my own tools in my garage that I could’ve used myself to do exactly what was done here for way less money. Absolute scam will never be calling again…

UPDATE:
After contacting Numerous people and submitting numerous tickets I am still at no resolution. I am EXTREMELY unsatisfied with the way this was all handled. Finally got a call back from customer support saying the most they can do is contact me to the tech I had them do that as I’m upset about the price! ( the advertised price is stating “as low as $29” when it’s only for them to show up..) I still have NO receipt stating what I was even charged the remaining $131 for I am also upset at the fact that when I had the tech call me he spoke over me almost the entire time and I had to emphasize that I can’t explain myself if he keeps speaking over me. VERY RUDE and very unprofessional. Please do yourself a favor and NEVER use these people as you will not only be met with rude sped up service but a massive bill for something you could do yourself.
