oh boy. just to start off, when I first started at the kiosk all tye buttons had about a 2-3 second delay making it extremely difficult to accurately select what I wanted. Then the key took around 5 long minutes to print but I didn’t even get it because the machine said it made a mistake! However on the second try it only took around 3 minutes to cut but when it camp out it had a bunch of small metal flakes stuck on one side that probably could have cut of my fingers if I wasn’t being careful. Ultimately a very disappointing process and product.

Kinda pricey if you only need 1 or 2 keys at $10 a pop, but the buy two get a third key free deal worked for me. The keys fit pretty tight, not as easy to turn in the keyhole as the original but they do work. I didn’t pay the extra to smooth out the teeth and they did come out pretty rough. They smoothed out easily with a stiff wire brush. Overall, it was an easy transaction and the keys fit, though not perfectly, so I had to take off one star. It was a very convenient impulse buy for me and it saved me a trip to the hardware store.

Had three car key copies made in less than 5 minutes. Excellent service!
Was told by another place that I couldn’t have a copy made that would actually be able to start my car, because they said the key contained a chip.
There was no chip present, and Tri Sate Lock made me three copies in no time and they all start my car with no problems!
