I called this company to unlock my car after locking my keys inside. The technician used an air wedge and a metal rod to reach through the door slit and grab the key ring (around 6 keys). After the job, my passenger side door no longer closed tightly and there was a visible gap.

I asked the technician to pour a small amount of water on that area to check the seal, and it leaked. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the company became defensive and said things like “Why test it? Because you knew it was wrong?” which came across as condescending.

Later they claimed to have “before and after” photos, but the only photo they had was taken after the job was done, and they tried to use it as proof that the damage existed earlier. That is not honest or professional.

The leak and misalignment started immediately after their visit, and their reaction showed zero accountability. I filed a Yelp Guarantee claim and Yelp validated the issue and reimbursed me after reviewing the evidence.

If you hire them, document everything with photos and video, because they will refuse responsibility if something goes wrong.

Had three car key copies made in less than 5 minutes. Excellent service!
Was told by another place that I couldn’t have a copy made that would actually be able to start my car, because they said the key contained a chip.
There was no chip present, and Tri Sate Lock made me three copies in no time and they all start my car with no problems!

1) The sign says, “Your key in 1 minute”…..more like 4 or 5 minutes PER KEY! 2) While your key design is all cute with your logo in it (?), it definitely doesn’t work with many keyrings. Redesign it so there’s a big enough hole for the keyring to slide through. The little “curved slot” at the top isn’t big enough. 3) I get it, it’s a machine and it can’t do it all, but…….when the machine is “finished” with the key, it doesn’t brush the edges of the cut metal making it difficult to slide in and out of the key hole. Over all, not a great experience…..but the only one available as WalMart continues to look for ways to cut payroll.

I bought 7 keys at a Minute Key machine in Iowa Falls, Iowa, (Walmart) on July 4th. Your drop-down menu will not let me put in the correct date (it forces me to select July 3rd). Not a single one of those keys works. The keys are too thick to even get them to start to go into the keyholes.

Sadly I didn’t read the reviews on Facebook before using the machine, as I trusted Walmart and figured they knew this to be a good thing. Now that I am reading the reviews, I am seeing many people complaining of keys not being properly made and not getting their money back.

I am very disappointed. I would like a full refund in a timely manner. I will contact the BBB and Walmart Corporate Office if I do not get a refund.

I plan to update this review no matter the outcome.

This place is fantastic! I was in need of a replacement screw for an antique custom cabinet. I was unable to find it anywhere. I took the closest screw I could find to Andy at Emerson’s along with the broken screw. Within minutes Andy re-engineered a perfectly matched screw. Very professional, skilled, reasonably priced and went out of there way to help. I highly recommend this place.
