Excellent service! Drove from 50 minutes away, and arrived within 1 hr of reaching out. Knowledgeable, professional, affordable, and very very punctual. Got me completely out of a jam, and his customer service was excellent the entire time he was extricating me from my locked out of house situation. What a joke. Having emergency issue with lock replacement. And called to see if they can help. Was told NEXT WEEK. Today is Friday, so I asked if there are any other places I can try in the area and was told “not really”. I’m disabled, so I suppose I can blow off my neurologist today and not worry about groceries, camp out in my home until it’s reasonable sometime next week for help removing a stripped screw. Smh.

Could not be happier! After the Subaru Dealer quoting me a king’s ransom , I found Mike’s Locks for Cars and called him up. We set up an appointment and the entire process took less than 20 minutes. AND he is local! The Subaru Dealership is in Davenport or Cedar Rapids and they wanted the process to take three days. Unbelievable! And with the price they quoted, Unacceptable! I could not be more thrilled that I found Mike online. If you have a chipped key for your car, give him a call, Save yourself some money and a HUGE headache that comes from dealing with a dealer. Highly recommend!

I was skeptical of the outcome as it relates to key functionality. The results was a copy of my key that performed exceptionally well. There was no binding or resistance when turning inside the lock. It is important to note that using an original key to use as the reference is paramount. I would highly recommend giving the key kiosk a try when you need to make a copy of a key.

The first time I used KeyMe, all three keys worked perfectly. The last time, 2 days ago I got 4 keys and 1 worked perfectly, 1 was a little troublesome, and the other 2 had to manipulate to get it to work. All in all I’m fairly happy with the service. Also I had a little trouble to get the card reader to read my card. A Menards associate helped me complete the process.

The key works fine. It’s a bit high for the price and then they want you to spend more money to smooth it out. That’s ridiculous
