Wow! Excellent service all around to have a key created for our car. Professional, knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate – Kevin at Hawkeye Lock was so incredibly kind and helpful when I left town with our car keys – leaving my husband without transportation!
He answered the phone promptly, no waiting for a callback, he understood how important it was to get keys made quickly and dispatched service within 10 minutes –

Had three car key copies made in less than 5 minutes. Excellent service!
Was told by another place that I couldn’t have a copy made that would actually be able to start my car, because they said the key contained a chip.
There was no chip present, and Tri Sate Lock made me three copies in no time and they all start my car with no problems!

I was skeptical of the outcome as it relates to key functionality. The results was a copy of my key that performed exceptionally well. There was no binding or resistance when turning inside the lock. It is important to note that using an original key to use as the reference is paramount. I would highly recommend giving the key kiosk a try when you need to make a copy of a key.

I run an Airbnb in Readstown and twice I have had to call this business in an emergency when my locking system failed and I had guests arriving shortly. Scott dropped what he was doing and took care of my problem quickly and averted having to cancel a reservation at the last moment! So pleasant to deal with and really knows his trade. I bought 7 keys at a Minute Key machine in Iowa Falls, Iowa, (Walmart) on July 4th. Your drop-down menu will not let me put in the correct date (it forces me to select July 3rd). Not a single one of those keys works. The keys are too thick to even get them to start to go into the keyholes.

Sadly I didn’t read the reviews on Facebook before using the machine, as I trusted Walmart and figured they knew this to be a good thing. Now that I am reading the reviews, I am seeing many people complaining of keys not being properly made and not getting their money back.

I am very disappointed. I would like a full refund in a timely manner. I will contact the BBB and Walmart Corporate Office if I do not get a refund.

I plan to update this review no matter the outcome.
