This is a SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! $328 to unlock a residential door ($199 to unlock / $129 for fuel/service fee – tech on site in 10 mins. the only thing appreciated but not necessary). All KeyMe phone numbers are SHADY, reverting back to the same technician who was on site. Contacted another local locksmith for perspective who quoted $90 for the same call. When I challenged the price the tech was willing to except a cash offer of $200. When asked to speak with a manager, again I’m doing this over the phone as I wasn’t there to take control and having to work through my 18 year old daughter, the tech contacted someone and began speaking in an Arabic language and was of no help, not even willing to explain the details of the charges. The receipt isn’t even right as they are using a modified receipt from a locksmith in Muskegon. When asked for proof of ID the tech didn’t have any. Thankfully my daughter took a picture of him and his vehicle with license plate #. I was also told that a state police investigation is also underway. I will be filing a police report to Ottawa County as well as locking my credit card and disputing all charges. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

Our condo association had a new keypad installed. As well as the appropriate code, 12 owners needed a key made for the new lock.
B&B was able to do this very efficiently. We also needed a key made to remove old key pads. The company came to our property, created a new key on site. Great service!!

Called around for a replacement fob for my Jeep Cherokee and prices were absurd. Called Eric, and got 1/3 of the price of dealerships and Ace Hardware.

Schedule appointment. Showed up. In and out. Eric is friendly and just gets it done. I’d recommend for anyone.

Had three car key copies made in less than 5 minutes. Excellent service!
Was told by another place that I couldn’t have a copy made that would actually be able to start my car, because they said the key contained a chip.
There was no chip present, and Tri Sate Lock made me three copies in no time and they all start my car with no problems!

Wow! Excellent service all around to have a key created for our car. Professional, knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate – Kevin at Hawkeye Lock was so incredibly kind and helpful when I left town with our car keys – leaving my husband without transportation!
He answered the phone promptly, no waiting for a callback, he understood how important it was to get keys made quickly and dispatched service within 10 minutes –

This shop is a treasure yo have in Ames. Extremely knowledgeable. Lots of parts/keys/locks/extras in stock. Made some, long lost, new keys for my classic car. Had them cut right away and we’re able to fix an issue with the locks caused by sitting for 40 some years. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend them. Thanks guys

I run an Airbnb in Readstown and twice I have had to call this business in an emergency when my locking system failed and I had guests arriving shortly. Scott dropped what he was doing and took care of my problem quickly and averted having to cancel a reservation at the last moment! So pleasant to deal with and really knows his trade.
