Had three car key copies made in less than 5 minutes. Excellent service!
Was told by another place that I couldn’t have a copy made that would actually be able to start my car, because they said the key contained a chip.
There was no chip present, and Tri Sate Lock made me three copies in no time and they all start my car with no problems!

This shop is a treasure yo have in Ames. Extremely knowledgeable. Lots of parts/keys/locks/extras in stock. Made some, long lost, new keys for my classic car. Had them cut right away and we’re able to fix an issue with the locks caused by sitting for 40 some years. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend them. Thanks guys

Christian was great! I called Gomex after I was given an outrageous price to reprogram two key fobs. He was open and transparent and essentially told me that I was being overcharged by the other company. He came out and reprogramed two key fobs for less than half the price I was originally quoted. He was very respectful, customer focused and had excellent customer service. Thank you! 10/10 recommend!

I bought 7 keys at a Minute Key machine in Iowa Falls, Iowa, (Walmart) on July 4th. Your drop-down menu will not let me put in the correct date (it forces me to select July 3rd). Not a single one of those keys works. The keys are too thick to even get them to start to go into the keyholes.

Sadly I didn’t read the reviews on Facebook before using the machine, as I trusted Walmart and figured they knew this to be a good thing. Now that I am reading the reviews, I am seeing many people complaining of keys not being properly made and not getting their money back.

I am very disappointed. I would like a full refund in a timely manner. I will contact the BBB and Walmart Corporate Office if I do not get a refund.

I plan to update this review no matter the outcome.
