Good service, nice old school store. I had key copies made for a gate the other day and they ended up being cut in the wrong blanks. I went in and they originally chose those and I mentioned they were too thick and got stuck in the key way. The gentleman that helped me knew exactly what I meant and cut me the correct keys right away. They match perfectly. Will continue to come here for my lock and safe needs.

Do NOT call this company for locksmith services!!! I needed a cash drawer opened for my business and had a truly horrible experience with Delaware Locksmith Pro.

1. I called for a quote and the tech, Ben, absolutely REFUSED to share pricing in advance – no minimum, not a range, and insisted that he would not be able to provide a quote until he saw the drawer in person. He did not state that there would be a fee to come out to the business to provide a quote. I even asked what the fee would be if he came out and couldn’t open the drawer and he said “That’s never happened to me before, I can always open a lock.” Absolutely no pricing was shared in advance.

2. Tech was scheduled to come out between 2:30-3:30pm that day. At 3:40pm, he called to say he was running late in traffic and couldn’t get there until 4:35pm. This was an inconvenience, but I stayed later for the service.

3. During the hour wait, I was able to troubleshoot the issue with the cash drawer. It was an IT error, not a mechanical lock error. I called him to tell him I no longer needed his services, as he was pulling up in front of the building.

4. The tech insisted that I need to pay him a $150 service call fee even though he did not provide a service! He stayed in his car outside the building on the phone with me, harassing me about payment, even though he wouldn’t share this quote with me on the phone when I called earlier. But all the sudden he immediately knew I had to pay him $150 for a service call – the same $150 he couldn’t tell me over the phone when I called and asked for pricing.

5. I ended up paying him $159 (because there’s an additional fee to pay by CC of course) to stop harassing me and go away. Again – he did not provide a service, or even come into the building! This was an absolute scam. Do NOT call this company!

The experience is nothing more than wait for machine do the work. But the negative is not receiving a receipt for this transaction or instructions of how. That’s important when you need it for work. I recommend before you ask for a good review get involve with a good customer service.
