Wow! Excellent service all around to have a key created for our car. Professional, knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate – Kevin at Hawkeye Lock was so incredibly kind and helpful when I left town with our car keys – leaving my husband without transportation!

I had a great experience with this locksmith. The first time he came out, he fixed my door quickly and explained everything clearly. When the issue ended up happening again later on, he didn’t ignore it or brush it off. He came back out and made sure it was properly fixed the second time. He was patient, professional, and genuinely cared about doing the job right. Very reliable, honest, and easy to communicate with. I really appreciated his follow up and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a trustworthy locksmith.

I was very happy with the service provided. John was attentive to the broken lock issue and assessed it through pictures provided. Pete came within 40 minutes of my emergency call and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue as well. Very appreciative of their assistance. Would highly recommend for emergency repairs as well as all locksmith needs.

5 stars, no doubt about it.
I was stuck in a super frustrating situation where the ignition in my car wouldn’t let the key turn, despite trying everything, so I was basically stranded. I called a car repair shop and they immediately referred me to Precision Lock & Key, and now I’m not at all surprised why they did.
Mitch fit me in with his schedule well, explained what needed to be fixed and my options for the specific part I needed. Got it all fixed and now I have my car back 🙂
I will definitely be calling Mitch if I ever have any lock problems again, he’s a lifesaver.

A great friendly and knowledgeable staff. Shop is clean and not cluttered. Ive also had many keys cut here including car and motorcycle keys. The keys were always well done. The best part is i actually live a few neighborhoods over. Worth the trip.

Super nice guy, came out to switch our locks on our new home. Fixed our garage door alignment so it would lock properly. Very fast! He was extremely knowledgeable about the mortise lock on our 102yr old door, even took the time to teach me how to make any repairs and which screws to get. Swapped the cylinder out with one in better condition that was still old to match the door, even gave me a cool key for it. Quick, professional, skilled and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend him enough.

I had three keys made here, and one of them was particularly tricky but the locksmith handled it perfectly! The staff was friendly, helpful, and it was a real pleasure dealing with this business.
In addition to their excellent locksmith services, they also carry a surprisingly large selection of hardware, gardening, and cleaning supplies. It’s a great local spot with a little bit of everything.
Highly recommend to anyone in the area and I’ll definitely be back myself!

I’ve had to make keys for me on a few occasions. For my chevy , they showed me how to program the key myself. Remind me Nissan, they had to program it, but they did the second key for free.Because i’ve been a previous customer
