This shop is a treasure yo have in Ames. Extremely knowledgeable. Lots of parts/keys/locks/extras in stock. Made some, long lost, new keys for my classic car. Had them cut right away and we’re able to fix an issue with the locks caused by sitting for 40 some years. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend them. Thanks guys

Called around for a replacement fob for my Jeep Cherokee and prices were absurd. Called Eric, and got 1/3 of the price of dealerships and Ace Hardware.

Schedule appointment. Showed up. In and out. Eric is friendly and just gets it done. I’d recommend for anyone.

I used the kiosk at Menards. It was very slow to do six keys, which stands to reason. The keys all worked when I got home so satisfactory.

Unfortunately I must give only one star. I went to purchase 6 keys. I chose 2 brass, two dog footprint and two butterfly keys. The kiosk said all were available to made from the kiosk. $30 and almost 15 minutes later and I received all but two keys- the puppy ones. It gave no options to get a refund for my two keys, to get those keys in an available option, and it never said that key option was not available to begin with. Walmart could not remedy because it’s not their kiosk. If we can get it dealt with I will gladly switch to 5 star! I was almost super convenient. It was for residential key copies

I found the key kiosk very fascinating! I was super stoked when the key actually worked.
