Was short with me over the phone because I have a BMW and said “can’t help” and hung up. As I am in the customer service industry myself, kindness and respect go a long way here in Hawaii. Don’t be expect that here.

Returned my voicemail in under half an hour. Diagnosed a bad “ignition immobilizer module” for a non-starting older ford ranger over the phone. We’d spent a week trying pretty much every thing else. Thought I was going to have to tow it to the dealer for a full key reprogram. Replaced the part myself and back on the road that afternoon. Super helpful!

10/10 Would recommend! Had a late night emergency & every other locksmith on island either didn’t answer their phone or turned me away.
Glenn came all the way from Lahaina to Wailuku at 11pm & solved my issue super fast!
Don’t waste your time calling around, call Glenn at island Lock & Safe first!

This company can’t be for real I encountered I guess the son But possibly an employee at the mall. Who is driving an extremely high rate of speed in the parking structure and almost took my leg & The door off my ADA SUV. Meanwhile when confronted about his driving behavior, he thought he could be push over to a disabled person. Upon realizing, yes, I’m disabled, but I’m not hopeless and refused to back down to his aggressive nature. He decided to Weaponized the police department when he was not in any danger a complete Kevin, who started the whole ordeal. To make a long story short, the police department did arrive and politely decided to laugh at him for calling the police on a disabled person, And completely wasting officer resources and time. A company is only put in a positive light by its employees and this is the action of their employees or possible owner. So with that being said, don’t patronize this business there’s more than enough places to spend your money than people. Who frivolously dial 911 on disabled people who they first challenge to fight and drive very aggressively and almost hit 2025 SUV’S that are ADA and the Vehicle is marked ADA.

Outstanding service, efficient, and affordable! Anong is able to accommodate same day service as well. I’ve been using his services for years and it’s always a pleasure and relief to know he’s available. I’ve had my locks serviced with my car, front door, screen door, and surf racks. Once my car battery had died and I was unable to drive out to him as I had planned. He hopped into his van, came right over, and helped to restart my car so that I could take it to the service station. Once again, outstanding service! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

I think they’ve finally settled on a business name of Kula Hardware, though you’ll still see the old school name “True Value” affixed to the rear part of the building. You can’t miss the quonset hut that’s been a fixture in the area for years.
In addition to hardware, plants and gardening supplies, Kula Hardware also sports a small gas station and does household propane tank refills, perfect for an area that’s growing fairly quickly yet has a lack of stores within the immediate area due to its accepted and expected rural-ness.
The reason why we drive out of our way to come here is that they offer a better variety of trees, shrubbery, and seeds for sale compared to national giants Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Walmart which are right in our backyard. We recently picked up an Ohia Lehua tree to plant in one of our yards. If you are looking for olive trees, this is your place! I was on a mission to find some of them back in 2007 right after our trip to Italy, and none could be found on the rock. Nowadays, they have plenty. They also sell different types of fruit trees including several varieties of apple and pear.
