My key works great all is good it was an easy process however I do think you’re basic key is just a tad expensive $6 for just basic gold I think there could be one on there maybe for like three or four dollars but that’s really my only suggestion. Very convenient!

I am a realtor so locksmiths are needed from time to time.
I had an excellent experience with 911 Lock during a time-sensitive situation. After a long eviction process that began when my client purchased a property in June 2025, we finally received a favorable ruling in March 2026. With very little time to act, we needed a locksmith immediately following court.

Our hearing ended at 11:00 AM, and we had a sheriff appointment scheduled for 12:30 PM. Roger arrived exactly on time at 12:30, which was critical given the circumstances. Since we did not have keys to the property, he quickly gained access and replaced all exterior locks efficiently.

What stood out most was his responsiveness and professionalism. His wife answered my initial call @ 11:45, and Roger was on-site in under 40 minutes. The service was not only fast and reliable, but also very affordable—his pricing was better than several other companies I contacted in the area.

I strongly support local businesses, and 911 Lock absolutely delivered. I will definitely be using them again and highly recommend their services.

Connor and his team came through and set up our keypad door lock they were on time did an excellent job and quality work. He even made some suggestions in regards to closure and future considerations for hardware. This is a quality company.

This was my second time using Key Me. The first time, one of my keys didn’t cut correctly and I contacted the company and they refunded my full purchase price. Excellent customer service and I used them again yesterday. A quality product with convenience and great customer service.

I got a few keys here in 2021 and it worked well. There were over 12 different blank options for my key! I signed up for the ability to replicate my key if needed from my email – seemed like a great service!

Now in 2023 this machine is useless. Once I came by and it was unplugged. Next time I saw it was plugged in so I tried to sign into it, but it said my key was unavailable. So, I tried inserting my house key (it’s a standard, widely available Schlage house key). The machine said it was not stocked with ANY options for that key!

What’s worse is I emailed KeyMe to let them know the machine was out of stock, and the response I got was ‘the blank is not stocked at the kiosk, there is no override for this’.

Clearly at least one blank for this key should be stocked, there were 12 options recently and it’s one of the top 3 house key blanks in the US. But KeyMe doesn’t care.

Do NOT come here expecting to get a key. Don’t give this company your email so they can provide you an emergency key, because they aren’t reliable. Go to a hardware store where they will have stock and actually care.

*EDIT* the response is to email support, which I already stated I did! More canned automated responses – go to a real locksmith.

This is a kiosk. $8 for a basic key and $10 for a design on the key. Then they wanted $3 extra to simply clean up the edges so they weren’t sharp or had actual burrs. Something that intentionally was left off just to get more money from the user. On top of that the keys have to be jiggled and really worked in the lock to get them to actually work. I had to take a file to all of them to get them to behave correctly. Save your money and time and just go to Home Depot or a place that has a real person operated key maker instead of this kiosk.
