Edit – 4/16/29:

After I posted the original review, the owner reached out to me about the job that was done. He indicated that I should have been told about “beauty plates” that are installed behind the locks to cover the damage that is done when removing difficult locks. He offered to order them and have them overnighted so that he could have them installed while we were home.

In fact he succeeded in making this happen and the result is very satisfactory (see image with plate behind the lock). So I have increased my rating by two stars and I say “Thank you” for your response.

Original review:

I am not impressed. The price for a home visit and replacement deadbolt is reasonable enough and they came in a very timely fashion. But I think the job was done poorly.

The aluminum door was left pretty marred and I took 20 minutes vacuuming the metal filings out of the indoor-outdoor carpet from drilling out the lock. The tech did offer to vacuum – I said I’d take care of it – but I think that experience would have suggested to put something down to catch these filings rather than letting them fall into the carpet. Also, torquing the lock with a 10″ screwdriver, one should expect that it is going to damage the door as it did.

So, I have a new lock costing over $125 but I also have a door that looks worse for wear than it did before the job. I’ll look elsewhere if I have to get another lock repaired.

Thomas came out to our rental property on a Saturday to fix our smart lock. With me working remotely we were able to reset it and get it connected to our account again. This was a unique challenge but his patience and perseverance paid off and I couldn’t be more thankful. Next time we need a locksmith American will be our first call.

Bought a spare key at eBay taking a chance for my Toyota Prius 2017. Took it to Key Wizard as suggested by Chat Gpt. Unfortunately the eBay seller sold me a locked key which could not be programmed. But the gentleman who was at the business offered me to get the key from his store programmed for the same price he quoted earlier. Amazingly it worked. Such a nice person having the patient to get me a spare key at fraction of the Toyota dealership.
Also I found out that her sells used cars under the business name Ellite Motors. I am sure he will be an honest person in this field as well. Thank You.

This man pulled up behind me at a red light in the company car and proceeded to throw a tantrum as soon as the light turned green, he threw his hands up in the air, making crazy gestures, mocking me because I didn’t immediately get up to the speed limit. He then continued to mock me the entire time like I was in his way when I was going the speed limit.
All of this done in the company car nonetheless. Maybe a lesson on better time management would be suitable if hes in this much of a rush.
I for sure would not feel comfortable doing business with somebody who acts like an impatient toddler. If he acts like this in PUBLIC, I cant imagine what he would act like alone with costumers.

Robert solved a secure door issue by building a replacement bottom bolt that was missing. Built the bolt securing the door from parts on his truck supplies. Great job! Very professional and much appreciated! Highly recommend A to Z!!

I have used minute key many times, possibly copied over 30 keys. I have bragged that I quit going anywhere else because minute key, keys always worked.
Last night I made 3 copies and none worked. I had never used this machine at this Walmart before either. I feel like the machine needs to be calibrated or something because none of the 3 keys were the same.
I am still giving a good review because it was super easy to get refunded. They offered either remake or refund just the same you would get from anywhere else.

Well I really didn’t understand how it was it’s way too many advertisements I’m not into that if I want something I know where it’s at anyway that I did not have a problem I did exactly what it said I figured I’d have to pay and then I did that etc etc so it wasn’t too bad I enjoyed my experience especially from Walmart

4th or 5th time i used minute key. I use machime at Walmart and no dought can wait in line at tire service desk to get made cheaper. Problem is it is in my experience 50/50 chance of getting a correct key from Walmart. Minute key works everytime and i even get a receipt.
