Wow, did I get lucky to come across Matlock. The phone was answered promptly by a polite, well spoken woman. She set up an appointment for the next day for my faulty door handle to be inspected. Mat came on time, knew what was wrong, said he’d find a part to work for me if possible and return the next day. And the next day he came on time again and solved my problem quickly. I drive an old SUV, about 15 years old. This provider arrived within an hour of my call & the job was done in about 30 mins. I got a replacement key AND TWO backup keys. He is personable, efficient & affordable.

Update 12/18/2025: About a month later the key fob fell apart, pictures below. This company uses cheap materials & does not warranty his work. I appreciate that he got me into my car when I needed it, hence the three stars. However, he offered to give me another key but refused to replace the fob without charging me again. I already bought a key from him with no fob. What I want is a working fob. At this point, I don’t trust him or any other locksmith, so I’ll have to go to a Toyota dealership.

Minute Key worked well for my needs.
Bought 2 brass house keys and received a 3rd free!
I found that you have to push the key in firmly and hold until the machine clamps to it.
The keys worked perfectly in the home locksets.
