Got locked out of our house on a Saturday evening. Called here because they were the closest to me and it said 24 hr service. From phone call to door unlocked was about 10 minutes. Who knew there was a kiosk for key making. I’ve never seen one before and never had the opportunity to use one. It worked fine. I was a little frazzled as the voice that gave instructions was not as clear as I would’ve liked and there was a lady nearby talking on her cell phone. I also misunderstood the second key. I needed a second key, but not two of the same key so I paid for an extra key when I didn’t need to -now that I know how it works I think it’s great -quick and easy and you don’t have to wait for anyone.

Mike was extremely helpful and professional. I had a side garage door that hadn’t been used in 15+ years. He got the old rusty hardware out and replaced them with new parts. Then he made adjustments to my old door to make it open and close flawlessly. He even keyed the new locks to match my front door key. Great service at a very reasonable price. I just bought a house, and I had a back door, front door, and outdoor storage I needed re-keyed. I was able to schedule a time with Joe that was convenient for me, and he arrived perfectly on time. He was polite and friendly. He was able to get all 5 locks on one key, and he swapped the outdoor storage to a deadlock to make it safer. If I could give zero stars, I would.
I called Pop-A-Lock after locking my keys in my car, and was told the technician would arrive within 30 minutes. Instead, I was left waiting over 2 hours, with no updates, no courtesy call, and no apology. The technician didn’t even contact me until an hour and forty minutes later.

What makes this worse is the complete lack of customer service afterward. I reached out by email multiple times and received no response at all. For a company that advertises reliability and professionalism, this experience was the exact opposite.

If you need urgent help, do not rely on Pop-A-Lock. They were dishonest about the wait time, left me stranded for hours, and showed zero accountability. I will never use this company again and I don’t recommend that anyone else does either.
