I just had the most pleasant trip to the Winchester Hardware store in downtown Winsted. Seth was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I left with what I came in for. He spent a while with me and answered all of my questions and cut a few pieces of wood for me exactly to my specifications. He did so with a genuine smile. I wanted to give him some money for lunch and he politely declined saying “That’s OK, you can just put the money in there because that’s where I would put in anyways” He was referring to a Veteren’s tip jar at the check out counter. This is simply a further testament to who this young man is. I will not hesitate to use Winchester Hardware for all of my future needs.

I had a safe that was locked and the key would not open it anymore. I brought it down and they opened it up within minutes. He was extremely fair, very knowledgeable and a true professional. This changes the way I will get basic keys duplicated. I bought 4, all 4 worked perfectly. No waiting for a trained key person to show up and operate the old machine, no bringing the key back to get corrected. An outstanding solution.
