Very rare to get same day service on anything , much less a complicated triple latch special order Andersen French door . United came only a couple hours after I called ; came with a smile and did not charge any rush fees. I give them 5 stars and already planning my next project with them.

Locksmith Raymond came over to my house to change my doorknob and deadbolt locks on my three exterior doors. He was unprofessional and sloppy. Raymond complained the entire time that he was in a rush. He also left the old locks on the floor instead of cleaning them up. When I brought this to his attention, he supposedly cleaned up the debris by each door. After Raymond rushed off, I found that he still hadn’t cleaned up the debris around my back door. I cleaned up the mess and also found many brand new screws on my kitchen door. I picked up all the screws that I could find. I then discovered more screws by stepping on them and hurting my feet. After this bad experience, I spoke with Raymond’s manager Eddy to make a complaint. He quickly offered for one of his best locksmiths, named Adrian, to come over and change my 3 deadbolt locks again free of charge. Adrian came over and I was immediately impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. He was also polite, answered any questions that I had, and he cleaned up his mess. I decided I was not going to start 2026 with my difficult front door lock so I contacted American Locksmith and left a message.”Steve” owner of American Locksmith LLC got back to me Very quickly on New Year’s Day(I was pleasantly surprised bc it was still the holiday) He came out assessed the deadbolt lock situation of my front door. He explained the problem in an understandable manner. He gave me the price upfront. He actually Fixed the existing lock versus just installing a new one, thus saving me money. He even explained the lifetime warranty of my existing lock! His repair was prompt and focused. I highly recommend him- because of responsiveness, professionalism, focus and good value of the repair.

Wow- these guys are amazing. I lost my spare pack of keys to an old car (not push to start) and my motorcycle. While other auto place wanted an arm and a leg to make copies these guys were incredibly affordable. Super nice, knowledgeable and extremely quick. Everything works great, highly recommend.

Amit was so timely and helpful! He arrived quickly and managed to get us inside a locked bathroom where the door hardware was installed incorrectly, rendering most of his tools useless. However he persisted and found a way in without damaging the door and cleaned up after the work was finished. Great experience!

Same day service was great! Jake is a competent, knowledgeable and trustworthy technician. He fixed the latch and installed a automatic door closer on my apartment unit door. Kind, courteous and a great representative of this company. Highly recommend.

My 9 year old son and I stopped here on our way to Stamford. Upon entering the store we were immediately greeted with a friendly staff member. A big smile on his face and a hello. Offering help if we needed it. The store is spotless and well organized with a little something for everyone as well, as a nice selection of hardware products. Nothing in the store was out of place. It was like a breath of fresh air . Staff members came by and kindly asked if they could help us locate anything and when my son asked them a question they went out of their way to answer him even engaging in some friend conversation. We did end up purchasing some items . Cashier was very nice, quick and efficient and asked if we wanted to give our number for the rewards program. We did sign up . That was also a quick and easy process . We will definitely be back . We do visit some stores near by, so will make a trip again soon back to this location. Thank you. Joanne was fast to answer and very responsive. I needed to be able to lock 5 different filing cabinets and thought I’d have to spend a fortune to get new locks on them all . Joanne was quick to look into the cabinets codes to see if they could just get new keys made , and got answers fast . I got keys made for all 5 and bought spares , had them shipped (they arrived in just two days ) and all of them worked perfectly on every single one. I was very happy with this service and the customer service and would recommend. I love a good honest company with good people . Thank you !
