An absolute life saver. On a motorcycle road trip, I locked my bike with a disc lock that I forgot to bring the key for. I was stuck, and the key was almost 5 hours away. Jeff came out with his mobile van (loaded with his tools) and got my lock open. I was able to continue my trip without a hitch. Great job and very professional.

Luke at Franks Lock and Key gave me excellent service. I needed same day service for a rental unit in San Luis Obispo, and got it. He was able to work me into his already busy day. It’s so nice to know there are excellent friendly businesses still out there. Service was great, left the areas he worked in spotless, and the price was very reasonable. I now have a go to locksmith to call on when necessary.

I called on a Sunday and Batyr was able to come that day. I needed 3 locks rekeyed and another lock had no keys and he was able to make keys for that lock. I will recommend him to anyone who needs locksmith services

Shawn was awesome getting my keys out of my locked car. It was a Friday evening, after 5pm, 95°. He came over within 15 min (it’s a small town). It was a tough job, I have tinted windows and a couple with sun reflectors on one side and windshield. Using a variety of tools, he didn’t give up and between he and son, they were able to get the keys. Nice guy 😊!!

I was 100% happy with my experience with A-1 Lock and Key in Clovis. I needed a whole new key fob, programed, for my newly purchased late model Mazda 3. It came with only 1 and I wanted a spare backup. Checked with the local Mazda dealer and was quoted almost $500! A-1 was able to do it for half that price. It’s an authentic Mazda fob and they programed it right there at their shop. Owner and employee both nice and professional. I like doing business with locally owned businesses, and the price was so reasonable.

First time using the machine it failed to produce a key. Second attempt was successful and the key works well. My credit card was charged for two keys when I only received one. My rating will change when my cc statement shows a correction.

My key broke off in one of my locks. Fortunately, I was able to get the teeth part out. Clayton was able to make a brand new key for me and was super quick and professional. I called the locksmith at about 8:04. This morning. I was having problems with my 1999 Volkswagen beetle. The remote wasn’t connecting to the car and I only had one key. i went ahead and purchased a new key and key fob online, and when they came, they were able to cut the key that I bought and reprogram it & my old key. The Smith was very professional and had a well kept up truck. after that, all said and done yeah, he left around 9 o’clock. It’s less than an hour from my call.
Personally, I think the price is just right. Thank you so much, and I will use them again if needed also, recommend, to anyone in need.

My daughter’s 06 Accord “with notorious ignition problems” left her stranded on a Friday afternoon with the key locked up. The amazing staff at Giles took her car in and had it fixed within a couple hours. The price was half the total of other quotes. Low cost and speedy service with exceptional customerservice.
