Amazing! Ryan re-keyed the mechanical locks on a vehicle for me. His service was professional and efficient and a just a fraction of what the dealership wanted to charge. He’s also just a nice guy. Thank you, definitely recommend!

Just had 3 keys made at Ray’s. Mentioned to owner I’m always hesitant to try one of those automated machines at Home Depot or Lowes. Got home, all 3 keys worked to perfection! I always judge a mechanics shop, or in this case, a key makers shop on its cleanliness and if things are in order. Spotless. It says everything about their business. The one we have gone to in the past has oily boxes stacked everywhere, and yea, well… absolutely stoked I finally made it into Ray’s. Great stuff!!! A+++

This review is long overdue. During a hectic Thanksgiving Day a few months ago, I was carrying my Thanksgiving food to my car to drive up to Oxnard for a celebration. Absent-minded, I picked up a wrong key from my kitchen counter and shut the pre-locked door. Suddenly, I realized I was locked out of my house for the first time in 25 years, and on a major holiday! With family out of town, there was no spare key anywhere. Fortunately, I had my cell phone in my pocked, I called 5 local locksmiths from googling. Lazim/Palos Verdes Lock and Key were the only ones that returned my call, ever. And that was within 15 minutes of my call. Thank you to Mike I believe his name was, for being an absolute hero of the day. Withing 30 seconds of working on it, my door was re-opened and my Thanksgiving was saved! He didn’t need to drill out my lock, and most important I didn’t need to break my window to get inside which I was prepared to do. This team is amazing, I will use you for any further usage I ever had for replacing locks, you have my full recommendation for your professionalism, helpfulness, and courtesy. I made it to Oxnard Thanksgiving celebration without any issues.

I called Lomita Lock & key to inquire about making additional Toyota RAV4 replacement keys for my 2011 vehicle and they were so diligent at confirming that they had the key in stock. Once they confirmed I informed them I would be on my way and when I arrived Moe was extremely nice and provided the best customer service. He programmed the two keys I ordered and was very informative when explaining to me how key replacement and programming works. Do yourself a favor and avoid the dealership you will not get that kind of customer service & price. I will definitely be coming back to Lomita lock and key. 🔐 👍😊

Easy to get key remade and pay. The keys fit or key itself is tight and hard to turn in door. But works I would use it again

The process was easy to use. But unfortunately the key did work. Maybe I used the wrong key option. The part of the key that was cut matched the old key. But the grove at the top of the key did not match the old key so the new key would not work.

I called and chose Macmanuel because he was transparent about pricing. Told me he would be there in 45 minutes. He even told me to call and cancel another appointment I had booked since the other service was not transparent.

He never showed. I called several times and texted. I was cordial, but was blocked. I was relying on the service to make my car available to my family.

This made a bad day worse .

I liked the convenience of being able to make a key at the grocery store. What I didn’t like was the up charge to clean up the key after it was cut. The key wasn’t cheap and I bought a basic key. Instead of paying the $2.99 up charge for the machine to make the key safer to handle, I used a wire brush when I got home. Any other place that makes keys would have included clean the sharp edges off of the key in the cost of the key. It was very convenient and I like the idea. The execution wasn’t a good experience. That was my first and last time using the service. Total cost paid $8.78. 🤯

This was a great experience. I called at 3:30 could not get my door lock to lock at work. He was at another location and at first was hesitant in taking another call but said he would come. I guess he came and went to the wrong space that was empty. I called and he was apologetic and came right back. He took care of my problem quickly, obviously knows what he is doing, so sweet. I desperately needed a key copied asap. Luckily I had found a this key copy machine at a Ralph’s grocery store. The key had came out so perfect that I decided to copy another key just for the heck of it! It was fast, affordable, and easy to use. I am very satisfied with my service!

FYI this is a kiosk inside Vons. This thing is amazing. It scans your key and within minutes it cuts you a copy. Note that some of the edges it cuts aren’t deburred.
