Our front door lock, handle, etc. needed replacement. I found Carpinteria Lock and Key online and called. Ricky answered the phone, asked me to send pics of the equipment, found a replacement, sent me a picture of it and gave me a reasonable quote. We set an appointment two days later and he came on time and professionally completed the job. He even drove out of town to find the equipment at no extra cost. Payment by credit card was easily available too. He was very communicative

Eric is professional, efficient, and friendly. He got here on time and changed my locks so fast! He took time afterwards to walk through my house with me to answer my questions about setting up security cameras. He explained thoroughly what I could do, recommending camera placements as well as what products to use. He also assessed a lock that I had questions about. I highly recommend Eric for locksmith work and security recommendations.

Look at this door handle and tell me if you think it’s $500 in labor (I bought the parts). Christina and Esteban are nice but this should have been half price and not taken 2 trips b/c a plate was not in the work van. He had to take everything apart again and we paid in refunds, lockouts, time and a giant price tag. I am grateful the job was done, but anyone looking at this job can agree it’s not work half a grand.
