The manager/owner (I’m assuming bc he was the only one there) was amazing! He was kind and helpful. I recently replaced the ignition cylinder on my bike and was only given one key so I wanted a copy. I was expecting to pay at least $50 and it was only $10. My husband was also getting two copies of his own motorcycle key after it got bent. The manager was able to flatten it and make two durable copies for only $26. The keys/services there are extremely affordable and good quality. Highly recommend!

I paid nine dollars and that was with a 30% discount And the key was not finished. It still had rough edges, and I would’ve had to pay extra to get rid of the rough Edges. I could’ve got the same key for seven dollars at the hardware store and it would’ve been completed with no rough edges. I would not use the machine again.

This review is WAY over due. The service was performed 09/06/23. I received such excellent service from the staff that I felt I had to write this review.

I started my door knob project with the goal of just replacing the current knobs (they were both locks and knobs). I had 7 knobs to replace. The ocean environment, literally, destroyed the satin finish on the knobs after 23 years.

I decided to call AA Safe to get a price on the knob replacement (my intent was to replace the knobs myself). I was replacing the knobs from the same manufacturer but going with the nickel plated knobs (not a satin finish).

At that time I spoke to Kindra who really went out of her way to help me! She first asked me for an inventory of the the knobs I was replacing. After talking she suggested two improvements:

1. Do not get a knob, get all handles.
2. Do not replace the knobs with a locking knob since I had dead bolts on all the doors.

Her suggestion of getting handles was so right on! At my age (I am currently 70), I so appreciate the handles.

Her suggestion to not get locking knobs was correct! We never locked the old door knobs. We only used the deadbolts. And a benefit that I had not thought of was that the cost of a handle without a lock was $99 cheaper per handle. So that suggestion saved me over $700! I have not missed the locking door knobs at all.

The installation was was professional and I have had no issues with the new door handles.

I am so glad I called AA Safe & Security for advice and installation. I highly recommend AA Safe & Security.

PROPS TO STEVE- I lost my only key to my Honda motorcycle, and it has a chip in it so it hard to find a replacement. I contacted this shop to get an estimate/quote. I couldn’t tow it so he offered to do a home service, and even offered a discount. I ended up deciding to continue looking for my lost key for now, but if I do decide to get a new one made I will definitely be coming here. Steve was incredibly helpful and very kind. Recommend this shop 10/10

I accidentally posted before I could explain what happened.

I called at 12:00 on a road trip up when I realized I left my house key with the wife. I first scheduled for 4:00, my arrival time. They later called and said they couldn’t get someone out until 7:00. Okay, I get it– you have limitations on available locksmiths and their hours, that’s fine. I made arrangements for 7:00, 7:20 passes and I get a call at about 7:30 from a customer service rep asking if they completed my service, I said I hadn’t even received a call. He said he’d get a tech out ASAP, which is good customer service to make sure the loop was closed. Locksmith calls shortly after, says that he can’t be out until 9:00. I tell him I was supposed to be seen at 7:00 and that I’d find another way into my house now that these are normal business hours. He hung up without another word. I call back to the customer service line and try to escalate my call, and get hung up on. Once I successfully escalate my call to the call center manager, she asks if she can schedule me again, I say no and GUESS WHAT: she hangs up without another word. Unbelievable. Anyway, 1 star. One person in the chain of custody tried, good on him, too many pieces went wrong.

I ended up finding a local guy on yelp that was above and beyond and out to my house in 20 minutes. He doesn’t show up on Google since he doesn’t have a physical address and I’m kicking myself for not looking there first.

I see how things could have gone right, but they really went wrong on so many levels. Hopefully others have better luck.

Since Dennis passed away, the service is going downhill. Cesar does not keep his word on appointment dates or times. Says one thing, then never shows up or bothers to call. Service needs to improve overall. Definitely not like before, changing for the worse……
