The ads say they tell you their pricing when you call. That didn’t happen with me. The technician told me the price for the call was $49. Based on that, I told him to come ahead. When he arrived, he told me the call was $49 and the charge to open the door was another $299. Then there was a 4% add on for using my credit card. I needed to get into my house so I went ahead. It took the technician less than 5 minutes to open the door. He quoted another $300 to repair the lock. I got a replacement at the local hardware store for $35 and fixed it myself in half an hour. It looks to me as if KeyMe is just a referral service. If I were them, I would not use the guy who came to our house any more. If he had told me the cost was going to be $358, I would have called someone else.
