I was in a tight spot when I was locked out of my apartment at 8:30 PM. Fortunately, I contacted Andy, who immediately put my mind at ease. He asked a few brief questions to assess the situation and then provided regular updates on his estimated arrival time.

I just called the keyme. They keep insisting on my home address to make a copy of my car key. I don’t want somebody would know my address and have a copy of my car key. They didn’t want to tell me a price for copy of key and keep pushing on the phone for my home address. They didn’t offer any of their office location. In the end man just went rude throwing on the phone ate me: “OK.. just forget it” and thrown the handset on the base of his phone so I could hear the thud first then it was disconnected. They are Rude, unprofessional, don’t wanna work with you, but wanna know exact address were you live. I gave my zip code, but they want exact location.

They messed up my Subaru. Tried pairing a new key, failed, left the Subaru with a red key light flashing. Now the battery drains every 2 days. Terrible service

The locksmith completed the job quickly, but the quality suffered. The lock felt loose and unsafe afterward. When I contacted customer support, my concerns were dismissed. This service failed to meet basic expectations.

Hi, I did have a key made at your Kiosk lovmcat3d inside a Lucky Super Market. This is my 5th key your machine made for me. Very convenient. However, Yesterday key wasn’t copied accurate as I went to use my key and it doesn’t work to unlock my Entrance door. I opted for the smoother cut the first time and none of the keys were. I returned a second time and did not choose that option and had no issues with the keys. They were made quickly with no issues. Note that this was the second location that I had to go to. I also went to one on Los Padres at a 7-Eleven that was broken. The attendant at the store was not very helpful in offering any type of suggestion and just stated that they don’t own the machine.

Got a very basic key copy, the original key works fine but new one cannot unlock the door.
Edit: thanks for the reply and increased 2 stars considering refund is an option.

I am super pleased with the service provided by Eliya Locksmith. I recently lost my car keys and needed a replacement, Ben was super responsive and helpful. I was helped on the same day and the whole thing took about 30 min or less.

I lost my only car key and they came to the place where my car is at to produce a new key. The key works. However the price is abnormally high! They charged nearly 800 dollars for a regular mechanical key without any remote function. I understand the fees also include unlocking my car first and after hour service (I called the service around 9 pm), but according to my research, even adding all of these expenses the charge is still much more higher (approx 4 times) than a typical price. Anyone can feel free to correct me if I have a wrong estimation.

Other red flag:
1. Price inconsistency: At the beginning, they say a price around 500 but at the end they changed to 800 and charged me

2. Not a business account:I transferred money to a personal venmo account without any invoice which put me at a risky position.

Since it’s already happened, I can only regard it as a lesson learned and explore there are any ways to protect my rights by any chance. But tips for the people who is considering call for their service: 1. Confirm the price at first; 2. Always ask for traceable docs like invoice.
