I had an urgent situation, and they responded right away. The technician was friendly, professional, and very efficient. They helped me open the door quickly and also reconfigured the locks without any issues. The prices were fair and transparent.

Please do yourself a favor and find a different company or call around somewhere else. Unless you ask for the total price in 100 different ways, they will tell you something different every time. You will end up spending a ridiculous amount of money by the time they finish the job and stop trying to secretly upsell you. I cannot get over the complete lack of clarity in price, even after asking multiple times. I understand that a locksmith isn’t cheap, but for someone who has never dealt with this before, I only wanted clarity and a direct answer when asking for prices. After the service I advised the technician to clarify better for the future customers and he looked at me like I was crazy for not knowing it would be this much. I am very disappointed and will not be returning here for any future needs.

Terrible experience. Had a lot of difficulty understanding the technician before he got here. We told the company we had hurricane or multi point locks that needed repair. When the technician got here, it was as if he had never seen one before. He took the door cover plates off found nothing put them back on and charge us $150 for at most 20 minutes of work. They also have their technicians determine how much to charge and have your personal check made out to them. The company says a normal service fee starts at $30. We cannot recommend this company. There is no manager to talk to about your issues.

Overpriced… went in to get a key made for a 2011 Honda pilot. He wanted $280, same price as the dealership. The mobile key van outside Costco wanted $160. I got it done at the swap meet on Van Nuys, near the Walmart for $110.

We called the locksmith to open the safe, he said he needed to see a picture first in order to give an estimate. The price was the most affordable than any other locksmith company we called. Leo arrived within 30 minutes. He was professional, quick and honest with the price. Recommending!

Ami is a very talented locksmith. My 2011 Mercedes Sprinter driver door lock and key fob both needed to be replaced and he was able to repair both with spare parts. He saved me so much money and time (repaired everything in an hour). He’s the kind of get-it-done locksmith that would cost you a fortune. Pricing was beyond fair and affordable.

What a horrible service this company offers, my keys were locked inside my car and I only needed them to open the door. The office told me it would be a $19 service fee, plus a $30 fee for reponding(fuel) making that $49.

I said please send him right away, as I was running late for a funeral

As he arrived, he saw they were inside resting in the cup holder and says “wow, this vehicle is a little more tricky. I have to hack the system into thinking it’s not being activated for theft but it’s very complicated and I have to get the correct timing. It’s going to run you with a minimum of $299 dollars with the potential of it being more”
That’s over %600 more than what was quoted. I had told the office in my initial call that it was a 2019 ford f150 so it isn’t as if they didn’t already know.

I really do not recommend their service, that’s entrapment and feel sorry for all the people who have been robbed from this company.

I tried giving it a benefit of the doubt but they really need a better key cutter. This one totally messed up one of the key teeth. Therefor the key didn’t work on the lock.

Kevin came out with a great attitude willing to work and help a customer out. I called a company previous, they charged me 20$ Just to come look at it plus wanted to charge 160$ more for the install. I got a hold of A&B locksmith not just did he charge me less than half but his customer service was excellent. After working with Kevin, I have no regrets or bad things to say, other than Thank you. Highly recommend their service to anyone looking for any locksmith needs. His work is awesome door is better than ever no service call charge other than what he came to do, for less than half of the others. Thanks Kevin for your help, knowledge, and hospitality. My first time experience was BAD. I made 7 keys from one master key. I didi appreciate the convenience of doing it myself and the free key offered with each purchase of two. However, these keys are worthless if they don’t work. None of the keys made opened the lock they were made for. I had to go to a live person to re-do the duplicates and they all worked fine. I DO NOT recommend Minute Key 👎🏼
