Fair prices, fast service, great customer service!

Came for a last minute key fob replacement. Poor key has really gone through it, even the tape holding it together was giving up…
Eric was headed out for a call but still took the time and assisted us! He was able to repair the key fob instead of replacing it saving us over a hundred dollars! Super grateful! He was extremely patient, helpful, and explained everything that was going on.

Then, I had a weird screw for another set of keys I own that I could not find for the life of me! Tammy took a few and was able to find a screw that fit! Will definitely stick to local businesses for things like this.

I needed a new fob programmed for my car as we lost our only one. On the first call, I was told they would be out in an hour so I went home from work early to meet them. When the locksmith didn’t show, I called back and was told that my appointment wasn’t until about 5 hours later. That was nonsense. They said they’d have the locksmith call me. He did and said he would come the next day between 11-12pm. He also noted that the price of the fob was about 3 times more than what they told me it would be on the phone. He didn’t show up the next day. I then called again and arranged a time the following week. Again, it the guy never showed up.Against my better judgment, I thought I’d give them one more chance the following week. I called them up and they said they would have the locksmith call me. He called and said he would come from 12-1pm but would call me back to make sure they had the right fob. He never called. Reading the reviews, I see they are merely a broker for independent contractors. I’ve been put out 4 times by these guys. It’s a good thing my need for a new fob wasn’t critical as I have two other cars we can drive. Bottom line. The service sucks. I’m now looking for a locksmith that has a brick-and-mortar location and answers the phones themselves. This broker uses unreliable contractors.

If you don’t have a key copy booth or dollar store that can copy keys for a $1 or $2, then KeyMe is good in a pinch.

Pros:
Has many common keys available for instant copying.
Gives discounts on Multiple copies.
Decretive and multifunction (think bottle opener) keys available.
You can save an image for later that is linked to your email address (this feature is really handy if you’ve lost you key, you can make one just by logging in securely at the kiosk and get another one made from the saved digital file.) This is really the best feature I think.

Cons:
Price is $7 – $150 per key (for single keys…there are multikey discounts)
Uncommon keys will be shipped to you.

Pros: Minute Key Does make Accurate keys. They’re conveniently located at the front of the store. They offer buy two keys and get one free.

Cons: I needed two duplicates of three keys. (You could only get the third free key of the same two keys you had just made copies of so I ended up with three copies of three keys). I thought they were a little pricey, too, at $6.00 each but it’s been a while since I got keys made. Also,”Minute” is a little deceiving. considering that the times on the receipts were 5:45pm, 5:50,pm and 5:56pm. It’s more like 2 minutes.

All in all, I’d probably go to a sales associate next time.
