Best person and locksmith Ever.
I had an issue on my HHR and called around, 1 never called me back, the other said they’d come over and then no showed, Then I Called Joe – what a difference when you care about your business. Joe was up front, he said he was busy but scheduled my Mobile appointment. He sent me a text to confirm the appointment and sent me one the following day so I knew he was on his way.
A soon as he arrived he went to work diagnosing the issue. Honestly, I was shocked, he even called me over to show me the diag results and tests. He demonstrated that he was trust worthy and knew his profession – that was greatly appreciated.
After all was said and done, he stated that he didnt want to waste my time and money and said that I should take it to a shop . I reached out to hand him my credit card and he said “no charge” He said that he was happy to help and didnt want to take payment. He called it “doing the right thing.”
I was blown away. Even after all he did and coming out on such a cold day, the guy showed his professionalism and kindness. Now a days, Few business show this care for their clients.
I cant recommend Joe enough, if you’re reading this, just call him. He’s fair, professional and honest. Moving forward, I will go to him for any locksmith issues I require.

Amazing service! I needed a replacement key and they were able to get it done the same day. The whole process only took about 15–20 minutes, and the key included a remote, which was a huge plus. This is the best locksmith in bakersfield! I highly recommend. I had such a great experience. I called, and he came to where I was within 15 minutes to unlock a door that was jammed on my class b RV. He was very nice, extremely knowledgeable and efficient with time. Camping world wasn’t able to help me at all, but he fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. Affordable also.

I’ve been using their services for keys and I find it very useful. However, the prices are a little bit PRICY! Also, the color keys are plastic, cost $4.00 and easy to break! I wouldn’t refer my friends or family to the Minute Key and I would refer them to Home Depot because the keys are strong last long time and cheaper.

I tried to make 3 copies of a house key, they charged me 8.00 (buy two, get one free). Not one of them worked. Then, Lowe’s wouldn’t refund my money. They said I would have to call the 800 number on the Kiosk. Not helpful at all. I had to have someone at Lowe’s laser cut them by hand. Those ones worked. Minute Key was a waste of time and money.

So unprofessional as owner got upset over the dumbest things . All I asked was for a quote and just because I made a mistake of giving him my car year , owner got super upset like if he doesn’t make mistakes and made it such a big deal. Owner doesn’t know how to accept constructive criticism or feedback even after explaining the bad customer service given to me and his reaction. No wonder he has 4 stars . Do better please, if your the type of person who doesn’t know how to speak to people especially in customer service, your in the wrong business

This kiosk would be perfect if I were a geriatric 49ers fan.

There are no regular keys here. You have to choose a design from one of eight painted keys. They do not have plain metal keys. The machine talks to you at an insanely loud volume. I don’t even understand the point of the machine talking to you. Isn’t there a way to show the words on the screen and let me figure it out from there? It’s a really large bright screen. But no it talks to you at the loudest volume possible letting everyone in the Walmart know that you need a key. This must be wildly annoying for the cashiers that work there. Sorry, I need a plain metal key.
