Very professional business. Requested door lock troubleshooting. Technician removed and replaced an old, faulty door dead bolt lock, then installed new lock, tightened up door jam alignment, and now the lock works great. Very reasonable pricing that included a new door lock with hardware and labor costs, we sent our work request by using the online app, business owner contacted me immediately, security technician arrived next day, very punctual, was on time and schedule. I’ve used this local locksmith twice and both experiences were excellent.

First, I changed my locks when I moved in. Fast, efficient, and very easy. The second time was almost an emergency after I accidentally left my key in a rental car. I was locked out, called them, and they arrived within 15 minutes.

I mean, this guy literally came from heaven to be honest with you. I was already having a rough week then to top it off New Year’s Day I get out wanting to get some thing to eat at Nick the Greek, moving too fast. I ended up locking my key in the truck. Once I realize I did two seconds after I closed the door, I quickly had anxiety and didn’t even try the door because I knew I locked my key in the truck. I have a 2018 freightliner M2 business class 106 with a 6.7 Cummins engine, Eaton double clutch automatic transmission. I called about two different places and called my insurance USAA. (Who are extremely reliable) to notify them that I got locked out of the truck. I then gave up plans for the day and what I wanted to do to take a minute and reflect on my relationship with God cause when things like this happen, they are like signs from God to either a slow down or do something differently.

I called Sam . Something told me to call Sam. Sam, the Lock Smith man is a great man extremely reliable extremely dependable literally was almost like a 911 called because he came so fast and I believe he had his family with him mind you this is literally New Year’s Day Jan 1st 2026. He told me 45 minutes and he was here in 42 minutes. Then to top it off this man bless me with something that I’ve been trying to get waiting to get, and no one really had he end up having a spare key, which is very rare for this type of truck for a mobile locksmith to just be carrying or have available brand new.
Also, my key was bent over 15°s this man took a look at it and fixed it in no time.
I literally should have filmed him trying to get the door unlocked because for this type of truck and before I have locked the key in the truck it literally took over two hours sometimes less sometimes more . I watch Sam access his tool to the door and literally got the door unlocked within less than 15 seconds. No exaggeration I promise to God.

This ingenious method of storing digital copies of keys for later duplication when an emergent situation arises… truly saved my life last week!!! (and my sweet dog’s life too- since he was locked out of the house with me on a 45°F night in San Diego… which we don’t get often, so I was still wearing my capri pants from our earlier walk- brrrrrr!!)

I realize this may be a common occurrence for some folks (my mother, in particular 🙄… but this is literally the first time I’ve ever locked myself out of the house without some form of backup- in the 45yrs I’ve been around!! I (we) live alone, have no family around, and no friends with a spare key (yet!), so when I went to grab my keys out of my bag after some errands at 9pm- with my pup anxiously awaiting his dinner- I was horrified to realize that my keys weren’t in their usual spot, and I had barricaded my back slider without first checking to ensure my keys were in my bag with me… because they’re ALWAYS there! 🤦‍♀️
(What’s worse is that I had actually already made a spare set of keys to hide somewhere, but newly living in a condo from a house- I hadn’t decided on an ideal place where they would genuinely be hidden).
My property management company is the only one with a backup key, but I KNEW I wouldn’t get ahold of ANYONE at that hour, and even my car wasn’t gonna be tolerable for either of us all night long (without dinner and medications)! 😟

Thankfully, on my drive back to retrace our steps during our errands, I had the revelation that I had previously emailed my dad a digital copy of my house key- back when I had extras made for my immediate family members after they family helped me move in awhile back… then suddenly remembered that I had emailed the digital key link to myself as well!!! 😓

Although it took me some time trying to call Key.Me (who’s not actually available after Business Hours- but does transfer your call to local locksmiths that can help get you back inside- for a decent price After-Hours, I imagine?!), I decided to try my luck by heading back to the very same grocery store kiosk where I initially had my key copies made & stored – which thankfully they’re open until midnight (unlike Home Depot- where I usually have my keys made- except that their Reduced-Business-Hours from Covid Craziness when I moved, actually prompted me to find this lovely, easy-to-use kiosk 😅)

I didn’t remember signing up for an account with a password, but their system of verifying my identity through the email address I had registered with on the kiosk made it possible to reset my password- which I was then able to enter into the kiosk to “login” and retrieve my stored key copies 😅

I’m VERY incredibly thankful for this ingenuity and easy-to-use method of re-creating keys- to provide people with colossal relief, at the most most frustrating of times!! I’m anxious to go back to the store kiosk and re-save my additional keys to my garage and mailbox as well- which have both been updated since my initial kiosk visit when moving in.

Honestly, I don’t usually write reviews, but this was an unusually bad experience. I was locked out of my car, and I needed help to get back in. I was quite literally a 5 min drive away from this location, so I figured it should not take long and should likely not cost as much due to the limited travel time. I was not told an estimate upfront, which should have been my first warning, but I was feeling desperate in the moment. They said they would come in 15-20 min. Instead, they took nearly 40 min to get there, which would have been okay if that was all. Once someone got there, they had to take only 2 min to unlock my front car door using very little effort/supplies. Somehow, all of that costed me over $150. I have paid far less for more work being done to unlock my car. I’m not using their services again, but I did want to post this review as a warning to the next person who is locked out of their car. Find another locksmith.
