Luke at Franks Lock and Key gave me excellent service. I needed same day service for a rental unit in San Luis Obispo, and got it. He was able to work me into his already busy day. It’s so nice to know there are excellent friendly businesses still out there. Service was great, left the areas he worked in spotless, and the price was very reasonable. I now have a go to locksmith to call on when necessary.

I lost my keys to my ebike. this shop was the only one in North San Diego County that was willing to consider my plight. Michele was fantastic and asked me to take pictures of the bike and the lock. Then she sent me pictures of two types of key and asked, “which one”. I responded and she said, “yes they could make new keys”. I took the bike in and with in a few days I had two new keys. I had been calling locksmiths for at least 6 months and found this little miracle on Google. One of the most recent VERY positive experiences that I have had. Cannot recommend this business highly enough, many thanks Michele and her team.

First time coming to this Locksmith Shop. I tried going to my regular place, but they were closed. The owner here is very friendly. Very knowledgable and has an extensive selection of key blanks as well as key rings/key chains and other accessories. I needed to buy multiple copies of several different types of keys (house, mail, semi truck). While I waited I was checking out the key chains. I ended up buying about 10 or 12 things total. Very affordable and it was nice talking to the owner. She said she has been at that location for 40 years. I will be coming here from now on. Great customer service. Very laid back.

I called on a Sunday and Batyr was able to come that day. I needed 3 locks rekeyed and another lock had no keys and he was able to make keys for that lock. I will recommend him to anyone who needs locksmith services

The service was great the locksmith was there on time and did a great job. That is not the problem – getting a price before the work. I asked what it would cost and the agent said starting at $120. I told him the year make and model of car and the type of key so he knew that it was going to be a lot more – the final bill was $918. I am sure the fee is correct but if i had know i would not have had the lock fixed – it was a rental car – for that much i would have just given the car back. When i questioned the people who answered the phone they kept saying that i was told the price starts at $120 so they had not mislead me. They are good but get a price before they start you may not be able to afford it
