Had a car that I had lost the keys to. Despite a few issues getting information from the auto maker, Adriana was perfectly able to fix the problem, and make fresh keys and a key fob for my car. Would recommend.

Outstanding service from start to finish. I needed assistance quickly, and Pick A Locksmith exceeded my expectations. They arrived promptly, were professional, courteous, and clearly knew what they were doing.

The technician took the time to explain the process, completed the work efficiently, and made sure everything was functioning perfectly before leaving. Pricing was fair, communication was excellent, and the overall experience was stress-free.

It’s rare to find a company that combines responsiveness, expertise, and customer service this well. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of locksmith services.

Thank you for the excellent service!

I didn’t experience their key services, but their customer service is amazing! They didn’t have the software to program my Range Rover key. Instead of telling me that only a dealer can do it, Erika referred me to another local locksmith who was able to which was awesome and appreciated!

Quite literally the most condescending people ever. They talked down on me for asking why we still had the problems we already paid them $500 to fix. Next thing you know, I have to wait a month since the guy who made my key went on vacation. My car was in the shop during that month he came back and I didn’t get it back until recently, which is when I had called. And my god, the demeaning tones and words just got worse. My bad that you guys couldn’t do your job properly. The guy finally comes around to check on the key and says that it’s completely fine. And then he rushes away. If it’s perfectly fine then why can’t I turn on my car when the key is inside? Why can’t I unlock my car when the key is right next to the door? Why does the $500 key not work? And the guy still decided to be rude as hell when I called him after he left. And then he sends me a text berating me? Like sorry that I don’t want to deal with you after all you’ve done is shut down my worries, not explain things properly, blame the car (which the original key never bugged out with) because it’s easier for you I guess? So thanks for ripping us off!

Update (January 18, 2024):

A new technician was sent today. He was very nice, but I didn’t get his name sadly. So if you see this, thank you for trying to help. You were much better at communicating than the last technician.

But moving on. I was not able to get any fix on the key. Looking online at Nissans and other cars that also use key fobs, it should be able to work within a 30 inch range (although it can vary, mostly with having a longer range, not shorter), which is something this key doesn’t do.

I was told that when I’m in the car trying to turn it on, I have to have the key closer (such as in the cupholder), not on the passenger seat, backpack, or bag.

But there are times where I don’t have the key sitting in such areas or places and do have it in the cupholder and it still doesn’t work. The technician even had that happen while he was testing it out.

But I was unable to get help since the person he called while here told him that since the problem is a range thing: to not make a spare/new key.

But to add to this, my mom is in communication with the owner as he has her number and not mine and he stated “I never told him to not make you a new key he just called me and he told me the key working fine if you want we can come to you and make you the new key but he’s gonna function exactly the same way the old one functioning”

So now I’m questioning quite a bit who I’m supposed to trust in this regard. The technician or the owner.

But in reference to the new/spare key working similarly, this was something that the technician and I were discussing as I was having trouble with deciding if it was worth having an extra key if these same problems were just going to persist.

I am posting videos from times in which the key was not in a backpack, bag, or simply sitting on the passenger seat, merely in the cupholder area. The dates range from right after the first technician came (December) to the most recent time I recorded the key not working (January 4, 2024).

I am only posting videos that relate to the problem with not being able to turn on the car as that was the main focus for this visit from the technician.

Although I do have videos of the other problem I mentioned from my initial review (not being able to unlock/lock the car without having to use the key).

Overall, it’s quite upsetting that there is some hostility when it comes to interactions with this business. I was willing to take down the review if we got the problem solved, we (owner, my mom, and myself) agreed on that term multiple times.

I’m not trying to tear down this business, I genuinely wanted my problem resolved. But it’s obvious that that is not going to happen.
