Called to see if they made copies of keys from Mexico and they replied with a message saying they needed a Picture of my key. I replied saying I couldn’t send a Picture because then they would always have a copy of my key. They replied really rudely saying haha they are a locksmith and don’t need keys for anything. So they kind of threatened me saying he doesn’t need keys to get into my house. Really rude. Do not recommend this business. It wouldn’t let me post the screenshot of the messages. Or else I would have posted them on here.

Brought in a tumbler that I needed the pins reset. They were great to work with and took care of my problem right away. The pricing was reasonable and I was about the door shortly. I unfortunately dropped the tumbler trying to put it back in the door, and sheepishly had to go back to have them do it again. They understood my mistake and were able to take care of me again.
Friendly service, would definitely use them on my next project needs. Next time I think I should have just paid for a house call to have it done right the first time.

I needed a second key for my car and was dreading doing it, knowing it wasn’t going to be cheap.
After googling, this place popped up with enough positive reviews I decided to stop by.
They made the experience as painless as possible. Quick, reasonably priced, and they are just NICE people. Genuinely kind people, that above all else will get them my business again.
I will absolutely go to them again with any other locksmith service I need and suggest them to my friends and coworkers as well.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dealing with Ventura Locksmiths Inc was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The response time was far slower than promised, and communication was practically nonexistent unless I kept chasing them down myself.
When someone finally showed up, the service felt rushed and careless, like they just wanted to get in and out without actually solving the problem properly. The pricing was another unpleasant surprise—what I was quoted upfront didn’t match what I ended up paying, and the explanation for the difference was vague at best.
To make matters worse, the overall experience left me feeling like my time and money weren’t respected at all. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable or professional service. There are definitely better options out there.

I did not like the fact that you had to cancel after I saw the prices then I got the 33% off I usually make lots of keys but at this price I did not. I went to the local hardware store in my town and they were $3.99 a piece so I had more done today. I had a credit card with a chip and I took about 10 times of swiping it the right way which I was doing to get it to work then it told me to take the key out at the beginning of the process and I chose not to how are they going to make a key without the key in there I like the old machine better I would not do this again for prices and the whole procedure. But for that one community is serve its purpose I needed it right away

Had a problem with my front door latch. It quit working. Ricky (owner) came out and attempted to repair it on 3/2. Thought it was fixed then on 3/18 lock broke again , he came out again and said he fixed it. Guess what? On 4/5 it broke again!!! We decided to go with another locksmith. Very unhappy with Ricky’s work!! BTW he charged us $425.17 on his first visit!! Very overpriced for 25 minutes of work!!!!

After being scammed by a different company that took $150 and never finished the job, I reported them to the BBB and reached out to Sentinel Locksmith. They honestly told me they weren’t familiar with my specific lock and recommended Brucar Locksmith—what a great referral!
The office manager, Debbie, was so empathetic to my story and booked me straight away. Joe showed up right on time and texted before arrival. He was friendly, professional, and fixed my lock on the spot. This was a huge relief since the scammer claimed he needed to order a $550 part and would take a week. I highly recommend Brucar for any locksmith needs. I am so happy!

If you need a locksmith, call Asher at Sentinel. I lost the last key I had to both locks on my 26 year old truck camper shell. I first called another local locksmith and was promptly told they did not do this type of work. I next called Sentinel and discussed my situation with Asher. I texted him some photos of the locks and he responded that he could order two (2) new locks and get them installed. The parts came in a week early and arrangements were made to get the job done at my house. Asher was on-time and very professional. He knew exactly what to do and the job was completed in a short amount of time. The price was also very reasonable. Sentinel is now my new go to locksmith. I highly recommend this company.

Good quality horrible service. The guy working there was very rude no manners no customer service. I was a bit of a jerk. I do not recommend using their services unless you like getting treated poorly. The person working behind the counter was a younger man. I’ve been going to the spot for years and up until now, I’ve never been treated like that. I spent $48 there on keys. I don’t get it you go there you’re spending your money there, but you get treated like a jerk. That’s the last time they’ll collect any money from me. I am born and raised in Oxnard and believe in spending my money locally on shops like this instead of going to Lowe’s Or Home Depot. Where is the customer service?

The keys only work occasionally after attempting to turn it or get it in just right for several minutes. The original key still works fine. Waste of money.

It did what was expected. Fast and convenient. Key works flawlessly… One thing that caught my eye was when I compared the new key with the old key is the cut was different on the new key, not quite accurate but it still works.
