We were locked out of our travel trailer and the tech was just awesome – responsive and knowledgeable, and he communicated while he was en route. When he arrived he tried a few options but didn’t give up and got it open before too long. He was very polite and courteous, and reasonably priced. Very happy (and relieved) with EZ Key Locksmith!

I came here to get a key made and Jaz was extremely inviting. His smile was infectious. My key was made in one minute tops. The price was inexpensive and I am happy with the service that I received. Needed a car key clone and was going to walk in. Unfortunately the store wasn’t open so I called to schedule an appointment. The next day, the store was open. I walked in, got it cloned immediately, and was charged $40.

I walked out to try it out but my car wasn’t starting with it. They noticed and informed me that the car reads the chip from the old key remote, and needed to be moved onto the new one. The remote was already paired, so it was only a matter of moving the electrical components from the old one to the new one. This was done free of charge, but if it needed re-pairing there may be a charge with it.

Customer service was good. They smiled and knew what needed to be done.

The price seems high for a duplicate key for my older 2004 truck which does not use those enhanced features like FOB, chips, etc.
It was $39.99 for a key so I had to pass.

Went to the Sacramento Locksmith location on Blumenfeld to have two motorcycle keys made from my master key. There is no key fob involved in these duplications…basic work. Omar was very nice but after making the keys, he charged me way, way too much…$85 a key. I expected $10 each or less. Before I left the shop, I pointed out that contrary to his assurances that they keys he made were identical r to the master because the teeth lined up, the master key had a shoulder that the copies lacked. He assured me it did t matter. When I got home, the keys didn’t work. Days later he came over and said the problem was that the keys he made lacked the shoulder. He promised to remake the keys and deliver them, even establishing a particular delivery day, but he no showed and even began only intermittently responding to texts. I went to a competitor who used the correct blank (the one with the shoulder) and he made me two keys for $9 each. Omar overcharged me by roughly $150. Omar has agreed to refund the $170 but to date has failed to do so.

Although convenient being located in Safeway behind my apartments the key copy was overpriced ( double it’s worth ) and since I didn’t add a 25% fee for “extra special” cutting the key didn’t work in the passage gate it was intended for. So 3 stars and inconvenient is my feedback.

These guys were GREAT! However it was a bit confusing for me as when I called them (no answer) they called me back (not from the store number listed on the internet) but from a FEW different numbers. I thought this was a STORE FRONT BUSINESS which they do have however their mostly a MOBILE SERVICE….COMING TO YOU (and usually for the same price as if u went to their store.) I needed a key fob and needed it to b programmed. It cost me $120 which i thot was decent instead of the headache of me doing it myself and they were much cheaper than anyone else I called. I also had six Keyes made from three different keys I had and a driver’s side door key made while I was there. Very friendly answered all my questions and were efficient and fast.
