I had to call them as I was locked out of my ’06 Corolla. My experience with them had been very sour at the beginning mostly due to communication issue with their dispatch center.

The phone number listed will connect you to an agent. The agent will dispatch you a technician (in house or contractor). As such, your experience could vary depending on which one you get.

The agent initially would not discuss about service charge, and I was told it would be handled by a technician. However, the final price due was about 70% more than the original agreed price due to taxes and fees.

I tried calling the number again, but the second agent was not helpful at all. It wasn’t until the owner was made aware of the issue thru review that a resolution was achieved.

Since the issue has been resolved very quickly, I have updated the review to take that into account. That said, since the avenue to escalate an issue seems, to me, limited to publicly written review, there is no absolute guarantee everyone will be lucky to have their complaint reviewed. The business still has a homework to ensure every employee or contractor is trained to their standards.

We were desperate and were charged 285 just to get us in. Then wanted another 185 to replace the broken lock. was not able to replace at the time due to wrong parts. Then it’s 4 days later and living with a broken lock. I can lock the door from inside but cant leave. Was suppose ti come replace last night but I called to let them know I didn’t have the extra 185 to pay. And never heard from them today for a reschedule since I could not have them out last night. Just a mess. $500 and 3 days was unsatisfactory But now this is just CRAZY!

Guy was a great help. I found him on Yelp and was impressed with the positive reviews. I called him on a Sunday afternoon hoping to get an appointment for Monday and he said he could be the in 30 minutes! He was professional, friendly, reasonably priced, and resolved my issue quickly. It is nice to know there are still honest, hardworking people out there. If I need a locksmith in the future, Guy will be the first person I call.

The locksmith confirmed the appointment but arrived much later than scheduled. There was no communication about the delay. The technician rushed through the job and didn’t properly test the lock. Issues started appearing almost immediately after the service.

I recommend this place with enthusiasm! I was having trouble finding someone to copy a fairly simple key, and was just told no from big box stores with key copying services. But at this shop, which hs clearly seen it all, the gentleman was very kind, and most of all, interested in solving my issue. He was curious, tried an experiment, and explained why my key was unusual. His experiment worked and I now have a spare key! Even if it was not successful, I was so happy that he had the energy and interest to think outside of the box, not with wild abandon, but with the know how from years of experience. I’m going here FIRST next time!

KeyMe is over priced and did not have the key I needed. But they would have made the key if I mailed it to one of their locationed. But for size (6) times the cost of my regular local locksmith. Not a good value.

Used the key machine to make a set of garage keys. The copies worked good as expected. $21.95 for 3 keys, tax included. It took around 8-10 min from the start to finish. You get to pick from a few designs or you can just choose the plain version. I chose the 49ers. The best thing was, that there was no waiting around for a store clerk to come around for key-cutting assistance like the big hardware stores. And I didn’t have to wait for anyone in front of me because there was no line.
