Our front door lock, handle, etc. needed replacement. I found Carpinteria Lock and Key online and called. Ricky answered the phone, asked me to send pics of the equipment, found a replacement, sent me a picture of it and gave me a reasonable quote. We set an appointment two days later and he came on time and professionally completed the job. He even drove out of town to find the equipment at no extra cost. Payment by credit card was easily available too. He was very communicative

The delicate key came out sharp and jagged with a metal buildup where it was cut and didn’t open the deadbolt lock when I got home. I had to use a wire brush to shave off the the sharp edges and buildup in order to get the key to work.

Someone had tried to break into a box on our utility truck and damaged the lock, rendering it inoperable. Brought it in and Ryan was very professional and was able to get the box open within a matter of minutes. He even provided us with the correct replacement lock for the box. Highly recommend these guys.

Good quality horrible service. The guy working there was very rude no manners no customer service. I was a bit of a jerk. I do not recommend using their services unless you like getting treated poorly. The person working behind the counter was a younger man. I’ve been going to the spot for years and up until now, I’ve never been treated like that. I spent $48 there on keys. I don’t get it you go there you’re spending your money there, but you get treated like a jerk. That’s the last time they’ll collect any money from me. I am born and raised in Oxnard and believe in spending my money locally on shops like this instead of going to Lowe’s Or Home Depot. Where is the customer service?
