If I could give a negative 10 star to this business I would. Their price gouging and fraudulent business practices are astonishing. The supposedly bought another locksmith that we used to work with as fraudulent and price gouging as them and then took it a notch higher. Being a captive client they charge 35 dollars per key. Today I paid over 200 dollars for 5 keys. They are so bad they even charged a 4 percent credit card use fee. I am sending our attorney after them and if the business operates under any special license I will file a complain. Stay away from these people.

Great experience with Oakdale Locksmith! Brandon re-keyed my locks and installed new hardware for faulty lock systems in a short amount of time. Excellent customer service and the new locks and hardware look amazing. Highly recommend!

What a great local business! I had a small issue with my gate- they were very patient, and gave me advice over the phone on how I could fix it myself- no charge! Peaks did a great job. I installed a new door with a Tru Lock system that was complicated. Ryan researched the parts needed, ordered them for me and did a great job installing the smart lock. A few other locksmitha declined the job given the complexity.

First time using the machine it failed to produce a key. Second attempt was successful and the key works well. My credit card was charged for two keys when I only received one. My rating will change when my cc statement shows a correction.

Honestly, this was such an easy and straightforward process. I will definitely be copying all of my keys here in the future. I came in around 4:20 PM on a weekday and walk directly up to the counter handed the gentleman the key I needed and told him I needed four copies. He immediately went and made copies of the key efficiently. He was late handed exactly what I needed. I think I was in and out of the store in under five minutes. So much better than going to a hardware store or copying keys on one of those machines!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

I initially reached out for help with a faulty balcony door handle. Communication started off well, but things quickly became a long, drawn-out process full of delays, misquotes, and poor follow-through.

1. Weeks of Delays & Scheduling Changes
What should have been a straightforward job ended up taking over three weeks, with multiple reschedules, often last-minute. I repeatedly had to follow up to get updates.

2. Poor Responsiveness
After the work was finally completed, I spent weeks trying to get corrected receipts for my landlord. My messages on text were mostly unanswered until I warned that I would leave a review.

2. Wrong Part Ordered & Refund Delays
They charged me for a part that wasn’t used, admitted it, and said the trim cost would be refunded in 5–10 business days. It has now been longer than that, and still no refund. Once again, no response unless I chase them.

Overall, this felt like a mix of miscommunication, disorganization, and lack of accountability. The technicians themselves were polite, but the operational side of the business needs serious improvement. I would not recommend it unless they address these issues.
