My truck was broken into at LAX and they destroyed my ignition cylinder. Ben came out to help me within 40 minutes at 7am, and even went out of his way to source the cylinder when he didn’t have the correct one. The pricing was reasonable and the service was great. I would use them again!

If you need a key cut this is the place! Staff were so knowledgeable, friendly and cut a bunch of keys for me. They can even emboss details on the key if you need it. So many options to choose from if you are looking for something unique. Wide open space with a lot of variety. Keys are definitely what they specialize in!

expect to pay $550. they won’t quote on the phone (he said starting at $50 when I asked). They said they don’t quote because they don’t know the work it entails (I described the car and situation on the phone) – they opened a car door that I didn’t have the keys to – it took a few minutes with the window air pumps and the wire hook. Nothing beyond that was required, so if you have a different issue it may cost you more money. They also only take Venmo or Zelle.

Kiosk is easy to navigate. Keys cut were a perfect fit. Cost per key more than I would normally pay for a simple door key, but due to the convenience (kiosk available well after hours for local lock and key places) and the cute designs, it wasn’ta bad deal. Keys aren’t made of typical medals…feel very light, but sturdy enough. Pleased with purchase and will use the kiosk again if in need.

I called and chose Macmanuel because he was transparent about pricing. Told me he would be there in 45 minutes. He even told me to call and cancel another appointment I had booked since the other service was not transparent.

He never showed. I called several times and texted. I was cordial, but was blocked. I was relying on the service to make my car available to my family.

This made a bad day worse .

Tried to set 3 separate appointments with the locksmith, always claims he’s too busy. On the most recent visit, I came for a simple 1hr job two hours before closing, was told to come back the next day (even though he had no business at the time I arrived); Upon asking what time the next day he told me he had 2 jobs already lined up in the morning (which is understandable) I said ok, left and waited. Called the next morning to ensure I’d get a phone call and he said he doesn’t feel comfortable working on my lock. I was at no point in time disrespectful, rude, or aggresive but I was treated like an outsider. To have my time played with by someone who claims to be a professional is both disappointing and costly, ESPECIALLY since the lock in question is the manual entry lock for my car door which I’ve had to leave unlocked for 3 days now. If he’d said that at the beginning there would have been no issue.
Highly frustrated.
I will NEVER do business with this man or his company, and if you value your time, I recommend you don’t either.

I got a lock done for the gate. They broke the original lock and said it cannot be used. Even tho, all we wanted was to create a key for the orinigal lock.
So we had to buy a new one.

The new lock they installed is coming off the gate, and is twisting upside down. The new lock has scratches on it too. With the amount of money it cost, this lock should be brand new.

I tried to call 2 times. so they can come back out, but no one is calling me back. They keep telling me someone is going to call…

Now it’s dark and that lock for the gate was to make sure no one goes inside my grandmother’s yard.

Almost a month later:
I called, they number that they said to call. Just for everyone to know. They are a 3rd party locksmith. So, if the person doesn’t do a good job, they have no authority (so they told me) to get them to give you a refund or even to get someone else to come out and fix the mistake.
I got from this…lesson learned, never again with this company.

I think this is a novel ideal. And came in handy in an emergency. I did have to go to 3 locations to find a machine that was in service. But the key 🔑 fits perfectly. A bit pricey but I would use it again for the convenience.

I do not recommend this place. We took our remote control car key so he can replace the shell, which we had brought in with us. That’s all we wanted replaced. He told us that he had to replace the key too because he doesnt do “Mickey Mouse” jobs and that it was going to be $65. We took our business down the street, where the man was awesome and he replaced the shell for us in less than 5 mins and charged us $10, but for being such an honest man, we tipped him an additional $10.
