PCH Lock and Key is monumental! I needed to have my key removed from my suitcase as it got jammed and the locksmith was so kind and conscientious. He tried to have it unlocked first, which didn’t work and then had to have it removed. He was so thoughtful and kind, noting that the key was now hot and said not to touch it. He was also so sweet with the children! The two little ones loved him – he was so kind to them and engaged them in what he was doing. He is also hard of hearing and told us so, but was so kind and caring with all of us, talking to us and explaining what he was doing. The price is also phenomenal! He only charged my $2 while a locksmith that would have come to me was going to charge me $75. If you ever need your keys replaced or removed or any locksmith service, I recommend going to him FIRST. HE IS THE BEST! Do not bother with any other place or service. The BEST place I have EVER been to get locksmith service. I very HIGHLY recommend! The BEST place to go!

The WORST…Frank… I called THREE TIMES and spoke to his wife she was nice on the phone all 3 times saying he out on calls and promised frank would call when he gets back…For a simple Key Fob program. NEVER CALLED. I ended up finding the nice man on the corner of PCH an artesia the small key locksmith booth… He was great and did it for me right there for a very low price and fast. To make things worse with frank, he comes into where I work all the time Eats for free and never leaves us a tip… I asked him nicely, how come you never call me back?And instead of saying, oh, i’m sorry… He made up some nonsense story His wife couldn’t understand me on the phone… Then, how come I was speaking to her having a conversation… Just go to the nice gentleman on PCH and arthesia boulevard…

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED …

Frank is a Huge LIER…We never got to the topic of money, 3 months ago I asked him if he had a Fob and all he said was that he would look for one…He never got back to me if he had a fob…Now after waiting 3 months I called him three weeks ago, I called the shop and his wife answered the phone, she was very nice and said that frank was on a call and he will call when he gets back…All I told her is I got the Fob and if he could program it…frank never returned the call to me. So I waited a few days and then I called back, his wife picked up the phone again and PROMISED he will call me as soon as he gets back, and again he NEVER CALLED ME. I gave him another call and she said the same thing…And again I never got a call from frank. So i just went to the Very Nice Man at the Key Booth in the parking lot on artesia boulevard and PCH. No problem with him it took him all of 5 minutes to program my new key fob from Amazon, that frank is saying it cant be done……So then frank came into my job and was ignoring me, I asked him several times what happened? What happened? As he searched for a piece of pizza to eat that I just previously made…I thought you didn’t like my food 🤔 Then he walks over to the soda fountain for another free drink that he takes himself, it’s right next to the pizza station So I got to ask him again, he mumbled something about his wife doesn’t understand chinese… i said, wow, I should just give you a bad review… He got mad and told me go right ahead and that He doesn’t care write as many as you want and cursed at me …And that was it. NEVER said sorry, how can we fix this…nothing nice out of his mouth …Anyway never mention of want type of Key Fob I got and never even got to the point of money…if he would of gave me a price I would of either accepted it or declined, but we never got to that… Then he started crying to my boss that I was going to give him a bad review just 5 minutes after he got done screaming and cursing go ahead I don’t care, give me a review.

AND THIS IS WHY HE GETS ONE STAR FROM ME… I fugured after all the pizza he has eaten that I made, and Never adds to the Tip jar, as least he would be nice to me instead of ignore me like I was a brick wall.

I bought a care remote from them. They told me it was a quality replacement. After a few months the paint on the buttons completely wore off. Then at 15 months it stopped working completely even with a new battery. They changed the battery for 10 dollars and said it would work fine. It still didn’t work and they were unable to make it work. Poor product poor service. I won’t be back.
