Came in for 2 spare keys on some SUVs. Lady warned me that my original is pretty worn and may not work when copied. I agreed to continue. They worked perfect. Prices were fair.

I see people complaining about the boxes and messy storefront, but to me that just means they know what they’re doing. Their number 1 priority is doing a good job and it’s obviously worked for years.

We needed a casita rekeyed on short notice. We called J&S on Friday afternoon, and Jim was nice enough to come to our home that Sunday morning in order to do our rush request on time. He showed up almost exactly at our appointment time, and not only rekeyed both door locks, but somehow he fixed what used to be a slight misalignment that caused us to have to push very hard in order to close the door. Now both the door and the locks open and close perfectly. We also thought that it was a great price, especially considering our rush request and the Sunday appointment. We will be scheduling him back soon to rekey all the rest of our house doors and gates, and will recommend him to anyone who needs a locksmith.

I don’t typically write reviews, but I was so impressed by Tal that I feel compelled to share. I called him after losing my car keys, expecting a quick replacement. What should have been a simple install turned into a much more complicated situation due to issues with my car.
Tal put in many hours over several days, returning multiple times without charging me anything beyond the original quote. When it became clear that the problem required a mechanic, he referred me to someone trustworthy with fair prices and followed up afterward to make sure everything was resolved. He even sent one of his team members to handle the final touches—again, without charging extra.
Tal went above and beyond at every step. He was clear, communicative, and highly reasonable with his prices. I am incredibly grateful for his professionalism and trustworthiness (especially after some less positive experiences with other autosmiths). I felt in good hands throughout the entire process, and I’d recommend him to anyone.

I went to the store with my bicycle battery that needed to be extracted from it’s locked plastic case (lost the key). I had a mobile lock person try for 3 minutes and when I asked how much it would cost me, it was going to be $150.00. I declined their estimate/service. Took it to Green VAlley Lock and Safe and explained the situation. They had it unlocked in less than 15 seconds!!! Cost: $30.00. Kind, efficient and very knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend!

I went to Rex Key & Security to get a few copy of keys on Tuesday. When I arrived the gentleman Josh was very helpful he told me that the key I needed might not work and told me to come back if I had any issues. I came back today with the box for the key I needed and he was able to assist me successfully with getting the copy. Josh was so patience and kind. All the employees are very nice and they all seem to love their job. I would recommend getting your keys copied at Rex as customer service is everything and they went above and beyond. The locksmith who came over was kind and professional and quick. Pricing was WAY more than expected. We ended up only going with an install of a new decorative front door lock and handles that i had bought, and got a new lock and keys for that set – that ran us over $350. And that was after she gave us a ~50% discount to the $85 consultation/service fee I didn’t know i was even going to be charged no matter if I was going to accept the service or not..
Ridiculous pricing for a few mins worth of work.

Honestly, this was such an easy and straightforward process. I will definitely be copying all of my keys here in the future. I came in around 4:20 PM on a weekday and walk directly up to the counter handed the gentleman the key I needed and told him I needed four copies. He immediately went and made copies of the key efficiently. He was late handed exactly what I needed. I think I was in and out of the store in under five minutes. So much better than going to a hardware store or copying keys on one of those machines!

If I could give a negative 10 star to this business I would. Their price gouging and fraudulent business practices are astonishing. The supposedly bought another locksmith that we used to work with as fraudulent and price gouging as them and then took it a notch higher. Being a captive client they charge 35 dollars per key. Today I paid over 200 dollars for 5 keys. They are so bad they even charged a 4 percent credit card use fee. I am sending our attorney after them and if the business operates under any special license I will file a complain. Stay away from these people.
