I went in the shop and greeted“Hi”! The guy didn’t reply back, how rude! Asked him how much to duplicate a key I have and he said $11! I find it expensive so I left and went to A C Lock Service in Berkeley which they charged me $6!

Overpriced service. The up-charge for a better quality fit is nonsense. Your base product should be a quality product. Don’t scare people with an up-charge for a better key fit. Finally improve your tech because I tried to copy my bike rack key and the system mistook it for a car key. Human key cutters are better and cheaper.

KeyMe kiosks are such a life saver. Working in the real estate industry, we need to make keys often, so it’s super useful to be able to do so outside of standard business hours and not have to wait in a line waiting to get keys cut. For my own personal keys, AND RFID I keep copies stored in the machine in case I need it.
I haven’t gotten a car key copy yet but I plan on trying it out soon. Seriously one of the best things to happen since we put a man on the moon is create KeyMe Kiosks.
I hope someday we can purchase all of our needs out of kiosks..and gumball machines and claw machines. Perhaps instead of money, we can buy our groceries with the tickets we win from playing skee-ball and that punching bag game that scores how strong our punch is. (i.e. if you are weak, you won’t win many tickets)

I hope ai takes all our our jobs and we, humans can just live in an arcade fun world. Cars will all be bumper cars. And drive themselves.
Really anything that will make it so I don’t have to keep waking up so dang early every single day of the dang week.
KeyMe is the first step to this utopian paradise. Embrace it.

The key I copied didn’t work. I got it copied again with the $2 smoothing thing and then it worked. I shouldn’t need to do an upcharge for it work. That’s bs.
