I called and chose Macmanuel because he was transparent about pricing. Told me he would be there in 45 minutes. He even told me to call and cancel another appointment I had booked since the other service was not transparent.

He never showed. I called several times and texted. I was cordial, but was blocked. I was relying on the service to make my car available to my family.

This made a bad day worse .

The Baseline: For a locksmith the service must be friendly, they must be able to repair/change/key the lock, and the rate must match the service.

Service Requested: There were two things I have come to Lupe’s for which was rekeying several locks so i was only operating off two keys (down from 5) and then I went to the shop to get copies made in mass for employees. For the rekeying service, Lupe came with his mobile van and was able to change all my locks without any issue. Lupe is a master at his craft and is friendly, accommodating, and efficient in preforming it. For the copies I went to the store and Tony made them extremely fast and precise. It was much faster and better than the auto-kiosks you will see in home improvement stores.

Quality: My rekeyed locks work great and the copies were flawless. Great quality.

Value: You are paying for skill and quality coming to Lupe’s and you are paying for that skill. For the multiple services I received I dealt the price was fair.

My truck was broken into at LAX and they destroyed my ignition cylinder. Ben came out to help me within 40 minutes at 7am, and even went out of his way to source the cylinder when he didn’t have the correct one. The pricing was reasonable and the service was great. I would use them again!

I had thee best experience here. This morning I saw that my car key was missing the actually key part. It had broke off. I was able to call this locksmith place and ask if there was anyway possible way they could help. Juan was the one who helped and told me to swing by so he can take a look at the key and figure out a solution. He was able to help & before you know it, I had a new key made within 20 minutes. He was extremely nice, truly a professional. I highly recommend. Price wise I was very pleased, it was affordable and not over priced. Thanks for saving me today!

Excellent experience! We needed a back up key fob for our car. It’s an early 2000’s model and we’d had problems getting a copy in the past. He assessed the issue and we ended up getting 2 copies just to be safe! I called other places before choosing AZ Locksmith and they all had higher prices. Super reasonable pricing. Very professional. We’re really happy he took his time and did not rush the process. Knowing we have these back up keys the WORK is such a relief.

Tried to use this kiosk to make a copy of two different keys. The kiosk ended up showing a connection error message, and I left not being able to complete copying the keys. And why I’m giving it one star is because I now see a charge for $25.12 on my credit card even though I never completed my transaction due to the error.

EDIT: Updating to 3 stars. After contacting customer service, they were pretty responsive and refunded me the amount.

Three keys and none of them will unlock the door! I tried your refund link and it just dropped me. This was 100% a waste of money. Stay away!!! UseHome Depot or another reputable key maker.

It’s convenient to have the service right there at Home Depot, but it’s fairly slow, overpriced, and they may cancel your mail order if you picked any special or custom keys. I ordered a few custom ones only to find later that they canceled them because for whatever reason they no longer had those designs available, even though they advertised them and they’re made to order anyway.

I later found that our local locksmith did the same work for 2/3 the price, despite having to maintain their shop. Going forward, I will shop small business, not support this chain.
