Just wanted to give a shoutout to a fantastic locksmith business in the City of Industry, Locks Plus, Inc. I needed some duplicate keys made for my commercial building, and they were absolutely wonderful.

The staff was friendly and professional, and they got the job done quickly and efficiently. They were a pleasure to deal with, and their service was top-notch.

I’ll definitely be using them again in the future for any locksmith needs. Highly recommend!

They do not follow instructions for communication and then over charge on arrival. They show as a La Puente business but the people they send could come from anywhere. My tech came from Glendale to service my La Puente business… Do NOT recommend.

Jose let me down by failing to fabricate a lock guard that I paid for over a month ago. He keeps saying he’ll get to it. He hasn’t gotten to it. Maybe with this review, he’ll get to it. Let’s see!

UPDATE: You think maybe a review like this would get a response! An apology! Nothing. I assumed I would be taking down this review and getting my lock guard. Nope. Let this review now stay forever, and I’ll find a new locksmith. Everyone else, find a new locksmith sooner rather than later like I did. I tried to find him on Yelp. I’ll look again and copy and paste this there as well. You’ve all been warned.

Quick and fast but the key was the wrong size and doesn’t work properly without some wiggle and work. It’s gotta be angled to work properly.

Call & make sure they can do the job. I called & they were able to provide for me what I needed. I had a difficult key FOB to duplicate. I saw the entire process and learn things I needed to know about my vehicle.

Excellent place! Make duplicate copies of keys that work. Most others are not so reliable. Been coming for 10+ years, moved away but still drive 30min cuz keys made here work!

Absolutely great experience. Mr Son arrived to me with the time he stated, and immediately got to work! He is extremely nice! It took him about 15 minutes to get in. Very fast!! I would definitely recommend sons lock smith to anyone in the SGV / IE and LA area! 10/10 and would call him up again!

Called about getting a key done for my car. Conversation was good, and was told he was going to check with one of his guys to see if he was in my area as they “were mobile only right now.” Said he’d call back in about 5mins. 30mins later I hadn’t gotten a call, so I call back. As soon as I identified myself, I was hung up on. I tried calling again immediately after and there was no response. Unfortunately couldn’t get a name, but it sounded like an older individual.

Needed some keys made for my residential for my kids made 3 copies at a kiosk at Walmart. The keys we’re for my kids they were stranded outside for a few hours because the keys did not work. Never shopping with this company again very disappointed it’s better to get it done buy a person. Call the customer service hotline told them that the refund was not an issue and that I was upset and they didn’t even try to convince me with a refund or offered.

Be cautious when you call. They refer locksmith services. I called on an emergency issue, and the guy came, not knowing how to rekey a smart lock and told me have to replace the lock with a regular one. Turns out they sell regular locks at around $400. My locksmith friend told me that’s a scam, it’s basic skillset to rekey a smart lock and only costs less than $90. A shame I have no choice but to pay to solve the emergency issue. I give 2 stars only because the guy came quick! Of course, when you have a bank to rob, you’d run.
