Manny came out and changed the lock on our side door. He also changed the combination on a lockbox that we have outside for caregivers.

He was very nice to work with, efficient, did a great job, and charged us an affordable price. We’ll definitely reach out to him again anytime we need anything connected to locks and keys!

Foothill Lock & Key truly does everything. I’ve used them for a wide range of work over the years—gates, pressure pads, standard locks, specialty cases, and most recently my motorcycle—and they’ve delivered every single time. I’ve requested their services professionally for work and personally for home.

My latest visit really sealed it for me: I had a snapped key stuck in my motorcycle’s gas tank. Not only were they able to extract the broken key without causing any damage, but they also copied the key on the spot. That’s no small task, and very few shops even have the capability to do it and they’re honest with their pricing!

They’re also mobile, which is a huge plus if you can’t get to the shop or need help on-site.

This is one of the only places around that seems to have nearly every type of key and every specialty you can imagine. On top of that, everyone there is friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable—you can tell they genuinely know their craft.

Highly recommend Foothill Lock & Key if you want the job done right the first time!!

There is a reason that Pasadena Lock Shop has been around for over ninety years. It’s because they’re experts at what they do!
This mid-century modern secretary had been locked, with no key. Steve Curren, the owner and 3rd generation of his family running the shop, looked at the photos I sent and noted that the lower part of the secretary was open. He then instructed me on how to remove the lock mechanism without damaging the wood, thinking that a key to the bottom, which I did not have, might open the top lock, something I hadn’t even considered. I then brought the lock to his shop, where he looked at it and told me that if he had come to the house, he would not have been able to open the lock, but now having the lock in his shop, if I gave him a day or two, he could make key, that hopefully would open the upper lock as well.
And it did!

Just bought a used 2021 Toyota Prius… Loving it, but only have one key.

Stopped by and why not get two remotes and two copies of the keys, right… Just in case.

Price is very reasonable, I don’t look for the lowest price, I want the small business to remain open and I want to support the local business.

The owners, father and son, are very helpful, how often do you get to enjoy cookies and a soft drink while you wait?

I just had my second visit from Antrims; the first one was in 2023. I came back because I knew I could trust them to do good work and charge a fair price. And indeed, Ryan F arrived promptly today, was both knowledgeable and courteous, and did excellent, efficient work. There are so many private contractors and companies these days who take advantage, misrepresent, or even outright scam. To find a company that is honest to the core, just trying to provide the community good service, is deeply comforting.

Such an easy experience. Much better than hunting up a service person at the local hardware store. I got two keys and both work in the door. I’m so glad I found the kiosk in my local grocery store.

Convenient kiosk at Ralphs. It took me around 5-10 min to get two keys cut. Easy process but it is pricey. I didnt have time to go anywhere else so I ended up paying almost 30usd for 2 copies :/

I purchased three keys. There is no wire brush in the machine to remove the metal shavings from the edge of the key, so I had to use mine. One of the keys is a bit difficult to turn in the door, but the two I got with designs worked perfectly. I went with the “improved” key cutting for an extra two dollars, and the keys still work, so that option is a safe choice, but it isn’t essential.

Avoid! Took almost 30 minutes to print 2 standard house keys and then failed on the 3rd key and had to refund me. I even paid extra for more “detailed, precise cutting” and both keys I received were riddled with metal shavings and missing all of the “teeth” on the key, rendering them both unusable. Waste of time and money.

I needed my auto key fob replaced, it had fallen apart. I walked in to the business shortly after opening and was helped almost immediately. They saw the problem and had me with a new key fob, AND a new key, within 15 minutes. I had been quoted at $200 for a new key because it needed to be laser cut. This gentleman did it by hand, in 15 minutes, for $50, and made a PERFECT cut that slipped right in to my ignition. What a delight.
