I was making an extra house key and I gave the kiosk a try. I must say, I’m really disappointed. Even the cheapest option is $8, and you have to pay $2 extra for an “accurate cut.” Like having an accurate key should require an extra service? Inspecting the key more closely, the cut looks really sloppy. A cut at the Home Depot is like 1/4 of the price and much better quality.

Meir was extremely helpful!! Lost the key to my car last minute as my family and I were leaving the beach. We called over 15 different companies that were unable to come and make a key on the spot. Michael came out to our house today to make some new keys for our door. We had misplaced all of them over the years. He was one of the nicest, most professional young men I have ever dealt with. The work that this company did was horrible. you should never use them. they said they would issue me a partial credit, but they did not do so. They texted me a credit receipt, but they never put it thru on the credit card. I would not trust this company.

Can I give more than 5 stars?
We used Kustom Locksmith Service, S.C.S.C. when we first moved in a few years ago. Excellent service. So, no doubt, we kept their business card. Today, I locked myself out. Called Kustom Locksmith Service immediately and they answered right away. Told me that they could have someone here in about 30 minutes….music to my ears!! (Thank God.)
Al arrived and is one of the most friendly and professional vendors we’ve ever interacted with — ever. His work was very transparent, as he explained to us precisely what was going to happen with “this” type of lock on the door and what would be involved with getting the situation remedied.
My husband went to our nearby Home Depot to get the same doorknob and we asked if Al could come by a short time later. He did, as it was no problem.
We are so RELIEVED and grateful that we have these guys as our “go-to” as a high quality, professional, timely, and affordable vendor. We did not find the service call and work involved “outrageously” priced…it was rather reasonable.
So, thank you Al and thank you SCSC (Laguna Hills location) ! 🙂

Made keys for home, machine was easy to use and all key copies worked perfectly. System is easy to use, just follow directions. Keys are a little more expensive than some locations but the convenience was worth it. Could offer a few more selections in designer keys.

I’ve lived in the area for 10 years. Michael and his father have been my go to for keys since arriving.
But, today was the first time I needed them for a car key fob/clicker. Michael walked me through each step & the choices available.

I don’t even want to give this place 1 star. The lady I just spoke on the phone with on 02/02/2022 sounded very annoyed just answering the phone. Simple questions were asked and her responses were just rude and sounded agitated. Get someone who actually wants to work there with better customer service skills!
