Great job ! I was looking for a locksmith and there he was parked at a business I pulled in and he was able to program my keys for my truck and was very reasonably priced. Took him about 20 minutes and I was good to go. Thanks again !

I needed a new key fob for our Dodge Journey. The stealership (who kept the car 14 days to investigate the issue) wanted almost $400 to replace and program a new fob for me. These guys had me fixed up in less than 20 minutes with a new fob for only $100. I wished I would have checked with them first. It would have saved me time and diagnostic fees from the stealership. I’ll definitely check with them first in the future!

Frauds! My family & I traveled to Phenix, Al over the weekend for a celebration. A relative lost her key fob so one of our relatives that was a native to the city recommended this business. The tech showed up promptly so we were optimistic about the professionalism & was confident this would be a smooth process. Boy were we wrong.

The tech wasn’t very straightforward about the process & the cost that could potentially occur while doing the job. We were quoted $350 over the phone. Apparently opening the car doors cost extra. How much for each time the door opens which would require more codes wasn’t explained. I looked that up & even called other locksmiths & all said that was a scam! You should not be getting charged more for opening the doors. Per google, “this is a classic bait-and-switch locksmith scam. The excuse that opening car doors requires “more codes” is technically baseless. Once programming begins, opening a door only disrupts the process; it does not require purchasing or generating new security code.”

Its super late, our whole family is outside waiting for hours with a baby for the tech to complete the job. We’re informed that the key fob works but she wouldn’t be able to lock her car. Apparently the codes they needed couldn’t be retrieved until Sunday when she was told to make the 2 hour drive back so they can properly program the key. Then we were charged $400 in total instead of the $350 & opening the car doors was the excuse for the extra fees incurred. The tech puts some guy on the phone that flat out says either pay & make the 2 hour drive back & we’ll program the fob & 2 spares but return the fob because apparently you can only have 2 keys registered to the car at once or they would unhook & the car will be stuck in Phenix. We reluctantly paid.

She gets the car home & her key doesn’t work at all. She can’t drive her car. When she informed the business of this misfortune, instead of at least trying to meet her half way with some type of professionalism & resolution, she’s being told to now spend hundreds to possibly thousands getting the car towed back to their business to program the car & key together. Let’s be reminded that this all stemmed from the business not being able to fulfill their obligatory duties for services a customer paid for. The key fob wasn’t programmed to its fullest capacity so she already would’ve had to spend extra resources getting the key back but to now have to possibly spend thousands getting the car & keys back & this business has met us with nothing but a lack of accountability & unprofessionalism! This is an error on their part & they have been unwilling to compromise to rectify their mistake. They won’t even give her a partial payment so that she can use it towards a tech in her city.

While the tech was working on the key fob, he told us the business worked with other locksmiths in Atlanta. That lets us know that if they really wanted to, they could’ve found a tech in Atlanta & paid the money forward to right their wrong but instead they pocketed the money & now we’re back at square one with the car expected to pay an substantial amount for a service that wasn’t properly rendered. This has been a complete waste of time & money. I wouldn’t recommend this shady business to anyone.
