  The owner, PJ, was somewhat rude. I thought he was a little arrogant on the phone when I asked him to help with a door lock issue at my place of business. Telling me, before even looking at the lock, that is was probably bad keys or needed to be oiled. I told him the keys were good and that they had always worked. Not a big deal until he insisted on getting paid right then and there by my employee. Not good business! My employee told me that he was very rude and he said to her " I told her that it was the keys", meaning me. I have had locks changed and keys made for another of my businesses and I was invoiced by that locksmith. I have never had someone demand payment then and there. I invoice my customers. I don't assume they won't pay me.

  Hi Rose, I sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings. We will always suggest to oil the lock and look at the keys first as this can solve a good portion of most lock problems. It is the first thing we check when on site. A lot of times we can save the customer a service call when we suggest this over the phone. Keys wear out and/or aren’t cut correctly when copied at generic hardware stores etc. They may not work smooth, only work for a short period and then fail as they wear, as yours seemed to have done. As for the billing we do not invoice without prior terms being set up in advance. As your service was a routine cold call service, payment was due upon receipt. I hope this clears up why our interaction may have been a bit awkward with the lack of understanding of our policies and insight. Thank you for your feedback.
