  I contacted this company because the cylinder lock on my storm door was broken and I was having trouble finding a replacement to relay it. I was hoping a locksmith would be able to replace the $10 part for a reasonable fee. Unfortunately, I was quoted $255 for something I ended up spending $58 to replace the mortise, handle, and lock . I understand time and labor plus parts, but I felt like I was being taken advantage of. Please see the screen shots of the conversation that took place. I gave 3 stars because of the customer service and pricing. I felt a 1 star would not have been fair. Best of luck to you all.

  Thank you for taking the time and sharing your feedback on our pricing and not our services! We were upfront and honest about our prices, we did not try to deceive you in any way. Personally I think that a business that is transparent with their pricing before coming out would be appreciated instead of ridiculed for your definition of High pricing. Just because you did not like my price does not define bad customer service, I merely explained my prices when you questioned the price which also does not mean that I am obligated to lower my price because you feel that it should be lower! My prices are fair for my time and expertise and if you want a cheap locksmith that definitely is not us! Like I tell many customers, Cheaper Is not better and Good Locksmiths dont charge cheap! I can also tell you with my 25 years experience in this industry that there is a lot of locksmith companies online but not many good ones! Good luck to you!

  I was in a big bind locking myself out of my home and needed somebody nearby and trustworthy. JR was amazing. He worked with my schedule and got us into our home quickly and safely. Thanks JR! :) Chitown Lock is awesome! We will be in touch soon with other lock needs for our home.

  He came quick and I even called super late around 2 am n he showed up conveniently as quickly as possible and was kind and understanding very professional even after I lost my temper a bit he was reassuring and worked with me economically. Great services and honorable and efficient! Must lock him in and give him a call 📱 whenever ur locked out. Thanks 🙏 again!
