Horrible! Unprofessional and have zero clue what they are doing. Gentleman on the phone just told me I had to ask previous owner to give me authorization to open my mailbox since I live in a townhouse. For the record, my mailbox is individual and I own the place.

After some research I was able to determine what happened, took corrective action, and apologize that you were not asked correct questions regarding the ownership status of your mailbox. Providing access to folk's homes, businesses, and mailboxes does require some vetting to make sure that we not providing such services to unauthorized persons for liability and safety reasons. My key broke off my mailbox during the pandemic and these guys helped me out. Pretty quick and efficient service. Thanks again. Didn't realize that you didn't have a walk-in location. Was just hoping to get a copy of a key but no big deal.

We had them come out to re-key all the locks at our new house. The technician arrived on time and was very professional! He got all the doors re-keyed to the same key quickly. My husband and I are very pleased with their service.

As a fellow small business owner, I've had the pleasure of meeting Richard a few times over the past couple of years.  He had always presented himself as knowledgeable and professional.  When I had a need for securing my business, Richard and The Flying Locksmiths was top of mind for who to contact first.  I was totally blown away by his outstanding customer service, the thoroughness of his quote and the quality of his technicians work.  Additionally, the entire process was easy and done with integrity - from start to finish.  I wholeheartedly endorse The Flying Locksmiths and would not hesitate to recommend them for future work.

From the beginning it was great( BEFORE INSTALLING  ). Good follow up and good selections. When they first were suppose to install the keyless system in my gym, they said they received the wrong products. They removed and cut out holes on my door and did not properly install it. Not only that, they actually did not have a way to open it and left my door with wholes where the key should fit. Regardless i had already paid about 1000 or so ( don’t remember exact numbers) for deposit so i kept going. Second time they came back to finish the job, they messed up something else and again my system did not work like it should have. Again, i was very flexible and waited for them to overnight a part that was missing. They finally got the parts but bot everything was what it should be. I paid for a very specific system and received parts from one and parts from another to make it work. I paid my balance and spent close to 2k. System was working ok for a bit but i also noticed that they filled in the gaps with what i would describe as puddy. The locks were lose and not properly installed even though they were functional. After a while of us having to still manually open doors for members i got fed up. Keep in mind our system is NOT even a year old and should still be under warranty. Richard claimed that because we manually tightened 1 screw to keep the system from falling apart, that voided the warranty and refused to fix the problem. Very unhappy with the unprofessional work done and the service all together. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with them...... and no Richard, i specifically asked you to come see it yourself. Us “tampering” with it was simply tightening a screw for the latch itself THAT WAS LEFT LOSE BY YOUR TECHNICIANS . NOT THE WIRING AT ALL. You refused to come and honor the warranty.

Juan, I'm sorry you feel that way and you can edit your review as many times as you wish, and it does not change that it is full of false claims and outright lies. The Flying Locksmiths have done everything we can to accommodate you and your schedule. Interesting that you do not mention that the system that was installed was hand selected by you personally, not the The Flying Locksmiths. We only installed the system that you found and wanted. So, if you did not get the results you wanted, there is not much we can do about that.. We have done everything we promised, explained what is installed, and you agreed with those choices.. We also honored our installation warranty until you made the choice to tamper with the system that was installed -  yourself - instead of calling us under our one year warranty even though we have came out before under our warranty when your requested. Tampering with critical components of an installed system voids the warranty. This is no different than any other commercial product warranty terms. If you buy a smart phone or a TV that has a one year warranty and decide to take it apart and tamper with it, and then return it because it is not working, you WILL be advised that your warranty has been voided because you needed to go to where you purchased that product for warranty repairs. We have done everything commercially possible to make you happy and honor our warranty pursuant to our policies. We care deeply about everyone of our customers and that they get the results they are looking for as universally reflected by our reviews.

Richard and his staff were extremely helpful in getting my electronic door lock installed.  Their quote was extremely competitive, the responded to all concerns and requests quickly, and they handled my permit with the city for me.  I could not recommend TFL of Houston more strongly.
