Great locksmith, have used them for a decade.  Went out of my way to stop by today at 11:25 and they were on lunch until 12:30.  Please update your store hours.  Still 5 star business, just a frustration.

Do not trust their inspection of doors. They did an inspection on my landlord's condo door and said it needed replacing for such a small bent on the door. Attached is the picture. Their customer support said a small bent is indicative of the door's "structural compromise". I'd say this is indicative of their scam-like business practices. Don't believe me, then hire a private or state inspector and see what they say. I am sure you would notice a huge difference. In addition, they wanted to charge me $2.5k for replacing the door. 2.5x the market value. I am sure not going to do business with them when I become a landlord.

This person is not a client of ours nor has he ever been. We work with his landlord and the price the landlord gave to the tenant is not something we have information on. This may be a landlord tenant dispute. Kevin, we suggest reaching out directly to you landlord with any questions or concerns as we cannot discuss this matter further with you.

After trying to get a schlage key made at home depot and being turned away (no inventory)- I came here and got 5 keys made easily.  Really friendly fast service and amazing inventory of Key types.

Very friendly and inexpensive key-cutting. I highly recommend them. I went in to get my car key cut after buying a cheap replacement shell online. The guy took two seconds and cut my key perfectly. I was able to transfer the button base and chip to the replacement shell, and it works like a charm. In total, I saved over $100 by buying the shell key through Amazon and getting the key cut with Sure-fit, instead of going to the dealership. Thanks!

We were delighted Sure Fit could send a technician to our house the day of our move in to re-key all the locks.  However, we were a bit surprised by the price tag.  The technician needed to go back to the office to collect proper supplies.  He charged us for his time to and from the office--about an hour!  Does it really take three hours to re-key the locks on three doors?  Technician also dinged the front door when installing new lock.  Might look for a more cost effective option next time.

I can't say enough about the service received from Sure-Fit. So quick to help us out in a time of need. Great customer service from the time of the initial call! Great technician who was here in less than 15 minutes. Professional, courteous and sincere.  I recommend them highly! I will definitely use them again. Great local Company in Silver Spring.

Had an attempted break in to my small veteran-owned business and needed the steel door replaced. The installation tech was very good. The VP and customer service for organizing the scheduling and contacting me regarding appointment, quote and status was horrible. Non-existent, actually. I had to contact them to get my quote after waiting 2 weeks. Also had to call two weeks later to find out my appointment was set up for 2 days later. And the price they quoted was different than the price they quoted the insurance company, so now I am out $1700. In dealing with the VP to express my concerns, he continued to be degrading and tell me it was my fault and provided no assistance or empathy. Absolutely horrible experience. Would recommend that others use ANY other company than this one.

Joshua, When we were called to your business, our technician inspected and reviewed the services needed to repair your door. There were also upgrades suggested and approved by you, which were requested in efforts to increase the security of your business and protect your inventory. We were later contacted by your insurance adjuster questioning the changes made to the door. The insurance adjuster only approved the fix to the door and not the difference for the additional security which you had requested. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. However, it is not ethical for us to misinform an insurance adjuster regarding services provided. If there is a silver lining here, it is that you were happy with our technician and the quality of his work. We wish you the best of luck in all future endeavors.
