All I can say is wow! From start to finish Safeway rocks. Chantel was so nice and handled the entire transaction herself. She came out and my car was re-keyed in less than 10 minutes! They are also priced so good compared to the dealership, and even beat competitors. I would definitely use again if needed.

Amazing Company!

I called 10 different companies and my OEM car dealership for a new push-to-start car key and Safeway Lock & Key had the lowest price and fastest timing.

The locksmith who helped me was extremely fast, honest, professional, and a very very kind man.

He arrived to my location within 30 minutes and completed my OEM push-to-start key in 20 minutes.

I saved myself over 250$ that I would have spent to the thieves at my dealership for just the key alone! I would have to had to pay even more money to tow my car to the dealership to get it programmed and cut but Safeway came to me with the new OEM key and did it on site!

Don’t go to your dealership if you need a new car key, use this company! Their prices and convenience are so much better than the rest.

I called today and had an appointment made within the hour. They were able to offer me a quote immediately and stuck to their word. The guy (i forget his name, but I think it was Sam!) was super fast and was really nice about parking. Some lady got annoyed with him because he parked in her spot (we don't have assigned parking so that was irritating of her) but he didn't seem to mind moving which I appreciate so much. He was super nice and so helpful. I will definitely be hitting these guys up for any locksmith needs.

Best price and Shane is the best locksmith 🔐 I've ever had. He was on time, quick, nice and very helpful. I locked the bottom lock of my house and it only cost $119 total. The same thing happened some time ago and it cost me $150 back then. I highly recommend Safe Way Lock & Key ! Ask for Shane, he's great ! ! ! 😊

They were very quick.  We wanted the latch lock replaced. We had lost a strike plate on the door knob years ago.  He refused to leave until he had replaced that as well because he wanted to make sure we were doubly secure.  No charge for the extra service.

Very brusque and professional.  I could see he takes a lot of pride in his work.

My husbands key to my (push to start) car was lost so we brought another key online and called Safeway to have it programmed. They where friendly and nice, got it done the same day I called which I did not expect at all, at a great price and it was done in minutes. From call to completion it was all of about 45 mins in total

Locksmith Eli came to our home and made copies of our SUV/truck keys and even upgraded my key fob for my Highlander!!  Great service!!  Very reasonable and will most definitely use from this point forward. Thank you again Eli!!

They have great prices and customer service. Shantel in the shop was very helpful. I was locked out with my newborn in the cold and they came quick, when he showed up it was masked up and also did six feet. I was amazed about the price and the time it took him to get me in my vehicle. I’m glad I chose them.

Horrible Horrible Horrible

Needed new storm door handle assembly and inner mechanism. Spoke to technician, Larry who called at the time he was supposed to show up and asked for an extra hour. (5pm to 6pm)
6:15 - no Larry - 6:20 technician Sam calls and said he’d be right there because Larry couldn’t make it.  Shows up at 6:45. Drilling in the door from till 9pm.

Long story short, Sam installed the outer brass housing crooked on the outside of the door. (Looks ridiculous) The new storm door handle smacks up against the frame as it closes
Sam wanted $300 for this. Just to get him out of my house I offered $225 which he accepted. I’m sick about the whole experience.

Update to the group on this post:

Management from Safeway Lock and Key have laid out a plan that would fully address my problem as reported in this post.  I am cautiously optimistic after a visit to my house that he will follow through with the solution as described.  There was a fast response to my complaint which has left me hopeful that a resolution is at hand.

I will keep this thread open till resolution.

I called Safe Way Lock & Key to address two needs for my 2018 Chevy Silveraldo Truck.

I needed a new key FOB programmed. and my spare key, provided by the Chevy dealer did not work well.. (it was a bad cut)  The young lady on the phone informed me she could program the new key FOB for $75 and she could probably fix the key for free.

I was instructed to come on by and they would be able to help me. I was impressed from the moment I arrived and she asked if I was the person that called about programming a key FOB and a spare key. In less than 5 minutes she programmed my key FOB and cleaned up the dealer key cut.
The key works MUCH better!!!

I was VERY pleased  with my experience at this business and would recommend anyone to  stop by for any of your auto car key and FOB needs. Thank you so much for the professional speedy service!
