"Fast, Dependable, Same Day Service"...yeah, good luck with that. They claim to perform emergency services but apparently get too booked up to actually perform these services. I got locked out of my house and when I called to ask for their emergency lock out service, I was told "sorry, good luck!"

I have been in real estate for over forty years, and when I need a key made, or a lock re-keyed, I have complete confidence in Easter's. I have never had to return a key duplicate, and the prices and turn-around times are reasonable, and the staff are courteous, knowledgeable and professional.

RESPONSE TO OWNER'S POST, FOLLOWS MY INITIAL REVIEW This is the first negative review I have ever written. I'm usually one to give praise and credit for good service. I have used Easter's many times for keys and have always been really pleased with their employees and service. I've recommended Easter's to many of my friends. Never again! I called this morning at 8 a.m. when they opened, explained that my front door was stuck and I could not open it and requested their service. Cindy who answered explained they had a full schedule but they would fit me in and that someone would be there sometime during the day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. She said the technician would call before coming so I gave her two phone numbers I could be reach at. I told her I would be home until 4 p.m. and would be waiting for their call. I rearranged my entire schedule for the day so that I could be home. It was 3:30 p.m. and I had not received a phone call so I call Easter's to make sure I was still on the schedule. Cindy told me no that I was not; that I had not called back to verify that I wanted Easter's to come out or not. What I was hearing was unbelievable!! Cindy made no mention I needed to call back to verify. My verification was speaking with her on the phone, giving her my phone numbers, and telling her I was fine waiting until 4 p.m. if necessary. She then told me someone could come out but I would have to be charged for emergency services. This was so not right. She connected me to the owner/manager and he so much as called me a liar, saying he had two stories and he had to believe Cindy and what she was saying. Cindy is a liar! Someone messed up at Easter's and I will never trust that business or use their services again. RESPONSE TO OWNER'S POST: Dear Mr. Easter, Thank you. I appreciate your responding to my comments. My interaction with Easter’s on Friday was disappointing and frustrating. In the past, I have always had positive experiences with your business. When I realized I needed a locksmith, I knew exactly who I would call for the job and I had the utmost confidence that Easter’s would come through. I was in shock and disbelief when toward the end of the day, I was told I wasn’t on the schedule when it was made very clear to me the morning of my call that someone would be coming out that day and would call me when they were on the way. What was most upsetting was that in trying to resolve the situation, I felt I was being dismissed and not being heard at all; and to add insult to injury, I was told I would have to pay emergency service rates if someone came out that day. Another locksmith closer to my home was highly recommended and they came to my house and took care of the matter. They provided excellent, prompt service at a fair price. I do appreciate my being heard and your acknowledging the situation. Thank you.

Good Morning Maureen – First and foremost, I want to apologize for the miscommunication that took place Friday and the inconvenience it caused you. Having been in similar situation before with service companies, this is the exact thing we work hard every day to avoid. It is rare that we drop the ball, but after talking as a team this morning to discuss your review, it’s clear there were steps we could have taken to prevent this. I know we can’t fix what took place, and while it does appear it was a genuine misunderstanding on our Dispatcher’s behalf, we absolutely should have resolved the situation when you called back by sending a technician out at the normal hourly rate. In the event that your lock issue has not been remedied, we would appreciate the opportunity to make it right. If you still need service, please feel free to call and request me specifically.
