Robert took my call on a Sunday afternoon.   I conveyed that I needed rekeying on multiple locks and it was not an emergency.

Robert gave consideration regarding my location, without my even asking!   As I was outside of his Albuquerque service area and he did not give me the usual OH, that's too far...I will have to charge you extra.
He is not, as so many are, a greedy opportunist.   He is, pleasant, intelligent, organized, a gentleman....great guy.

Robert had his assistant JJ, also excellent, contact me to schedule the service appointment and next morning 9:00, on time, done with ease.

Very top notch service! A family member lost my key to my Ford Escape and I was panicking. I called and was given a more than fair pricing on a replacement. Locked out of the house, I called Robert (and he answered!). He told me how much it would cost and had a tech here in under 20 minutes. She was very personable and professional. The door was unlocked in a jiffy and I was back in! Definitely putting Robert’s Lock and Key in my contacts!

I asked Robert to re-key three unopened locks I’d bought at Lowes. Robert spent two minutes showing how the style of locks I had purchased could be re-keyed using the tools included WITH THE LOCKS.

I called about 7 other 24 hr lock smith's and i either didn't get a call back, or they couldn't do the year my car was or id have to wait till the next day. They answered me when no one else would pick up the phone!! Got locked out of my apartment with my dog at 10:30 pm in a shady part of town and my property management told me they wouldn't perform lockout services and come let me in because it "doesn't qualify as an emergency." My biulding's management couldn't even give me a number to call for help. Two other 24-hour locksmiths I tried didn't answer. The woman who picked up with Robert's Lock & Key was super friendly and understanding, gave me a cost estimate right away, and got someone to my apartment in under 30 minutes to get me safely inside! The woman who responded was extremely friendly and professional and got us in right away. She was also respectful of my anxious dog's need for space. I'm so grateful they came through for me when my landlord refused.

Locked ourselves out of the house the Saturday before Easter Sunday! Called Robert and not only did he make it out very quickly, but he had us back into our house in less than 30 minutes.
A friend had called a different locksmith to unlock her car a few days prior and she was charged almost double what we were charged by Robert. Great service and great prices. Definitely recommend to anyone!
(This company literally only has one negative review at the time I'm posting this! That alone speaks volumes of how great a company this is and how may people they have helped out. I'm sure the bad review is either from competition or someone trying to get something unlocked illegally.)

Roberts lock and key were spot on. I called for a family that was out of town from Texas and spoke little english. Unreal, absolutely amazing.
We called at 8:00 pm with an emergency - needing what we thought was 2 locks changed. Ty showed up exactly when he said he would - he got right to work, he was very professional and worked quickly. It turned out that we actually needed three locks changed - Ty was kind enough to honor the price he had quoted us for only two locks.

I was locked out of my car today (June 2, 2019) called this gentleman for help and he was here right away! I lost my car key during COVID and it was the only one I had. To have Toyota replace it, I would need to tow the vehicle ($!!!), pay $200 for LABOR and $150 for the key. I took up cycling...I was referred to Roberts Lock and Key by Heights Security who also provides excellent service, but do not do mobile calls. Robert answered right away, showed up promptly, communicated professionally and got me a new key within the hour. Not only did I save substantially, but I did not have to leave the house. 5/5 here I would give more stars if I could. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I wish I could give Robert a bonus star. He was professional, timely, efficient, reasonably-priced, and very pleasant. My car was unusually complicated, the key needed to be remade, amongst other things. His attitude helped cheer me up. When my original key was found, he came by my house and reprogrammed it for me!

Very fast, and great price. I called 4 other lock smiths and his prices were FAR below everyone.  It was quick and good quality service.  He charged me a flat rate fee so there wasn't extra paper work and extra fees, which made the process simple.  I paid exactly what he said on the phone, not a penny more. My experience with Robert's Lock and Key was great! When I first looked up locksmiths online, the first two places I called couldn't help me because it was late (9PM). After I called Robert's, me and my girlfriend were back in our car in minutes! Francisco helped us out and was courteous the entire time. Robert killed it today! My ignition switch was ruined by a wannabe thief a week ago, and when I was shopping for a locksmith he was the only one able to talk with me immediately. He gave me advice that day which saved me ~$350. Today got my new ignition and he was at my house to program the key/transponder within ~30 minutes. This guy really knows what he's doing.  After rekeying my front door, the bolt just glides without catching like it did before.  He said there was a piece inside that's twisted but when he lined everything up, it worked so much better before he rekeyed it!  He was very quick, professional, and cost was low!
